Fish Biryani

Try out Mum's yummy Tin Fish briyani, made with all the right spices.
Recipe:
1/4 cup oil
2 onions
1 starseed
1 big elachi
2 big cinnamon sticks
1 tbsn soomph seeds
1 Bay leaf
Marinade:
2 cups tomato
1/2 cup maas
1 Tbsn chilli powder
1 tsp tumeric powder
2 tsp soomph powder
1 Tbsn rough salt
2 tsp garam masala
2 Tbsn ginger & garlic
2 tsp dhania & jeera powder
Handful of dhania and mint chopped
Curry leaves
2 X Tin middle cut tin fish
100g butter
2 cups rice
egg yellow
1 cup lentils

Like your method of Tin Fish Breyani. 😮 But Surprised that you do not add Ginger or Garlic which cuts off the fishy smell. 🤔
