    Some villages in Tur'abdin did armed themselves and defended themselves successfully. They were also able to go liberate neighboring villages and rescue people. That's why there are still villages, properties owned by Assyrians in Tur'abdin.

      Shlama, No. The tribes of Tyari, Tkhuma, Jilu, Baz, and Dez were. Dependent on these were the rayats of Tal, Walto Ishtazin (lesser Jilu) and Ashitha, which actually belongs to lower Tyari.

    Ashirat is from the Akkadian word. Ašaredu it means first and fore most /prominent/elite or first class.

    Ashera means family line ..milatea is like tribes
