True. Many have learned from her over the years. The problem today is most form opinions based on seeing slivers of info online, which people who never even met the people involved, change, twist & even outright make up, and consider that "facts". Critical thinking has become a lost skill.

I would LOVE a blush video! Blush 101 that talks about blush placement for different face shapes and how to figure out what blush tones compliment the rest of a makeup look! What finishes and colors of blush work cohesively with an olive smokey eye, how to pair blush with a bold lip, etc. And I personally prefer watching videos here on your UA-cam channel over other social media!

Back when Jaclyn was just starting out, my daughter watched her videos all the time! She learned how to blend her eyeshadow to the point it looks like a makeup artist did it! She gets compliments all the time about her eye makeup. Jaclyn is a great teacher!

I never comment on videos but I had to come back and say thank you for this video. I had literally given up on mascara after thinking my eyelashes simply were not any good, but I tried this and it absolutely worked. I
still can't believe my eyelashes were lifted and stayed lifted the whole day. I followed what you said exactly except I only own one mascara (which was given to me months ago and was still unused bc I had given up), but I applied two coats of it to emulate what you did with multiple and applied it to my bottom lashes as well and it worked like a charm. Thanks again for this video, I finally have naturally pretty eyelashes 💗

I would love to see just a ”how to” series where you go into depth about everything. Blush, blush color, tones, blending techniques, etc. I am pretty savvy with make up, but I always learn something or am reminded of simple things when going back to he basics and I love it!:)

You are by far the best teacher in the beauty community. Nobody else takes the time to do simple tips & tricks that can actually help the normal people out there! This is awesome, I know for me personally being a busy working mom I don’t have time to do all of the dramatic club scene eyes like some other beauty gurus do! It’s fun for a special occasion or something but this is just so great for everyday wear and realistic and practical! Thanks!!

The reason I fell in love with your videos in 2014 is because I always learned so much. You’re the best teacher and I love seeing videos like these where you sit down and show us your techniques. I left this video feeling so inspired to quit the falsies and embrace the natural lash with some good mascara.

I’m re-learning how to do the most “basic” parts of my makeup, esp lashes after like 18 months of lash extensions. Things have gotten stale for a lot of us who are in our late 20’s-early 30’s now. PLEASE RE-TEACH US, 👑!!!

You need to create a double-ended mascara, one side for lengthening one for volume with different wands that can be used on either side. So kind of like 4 products in one!

Can you do a video on picking the “perfect red” lip color for your skin tone? I don’t even know what my skin tone is considered... neutral, warm, idk... 😔 Love you Jaclyn!! 💕
I use the jewelry trick. If you look better in silver, you have a cooler, possibly pinker tone. If you look better in gold, you have a warmer, possibly more yellow tone. If you look great in both, you have a neutral tone. I find a blue tone red looks the best on me, as I have a cooler tone. IDK if this helps.
Me too bc i struggle to find foundation! I actually went to a Mac counter for foundation one time and a makeup artist there had told me I had an olive undertone and still to this day I do not know if that is still true or if she was right or where to buy the right foundation for it, Jaclyn help ♥️
Girl I’m glad I’m not the only one. Idk what my skin tone is either. I have brown hair and brown eyes, but my skin is very pale and I have freckles. Like my skin is that of a red head, but my hair is brown!! Halp!
