Best version I've heard yet. I listened to the album and if I were him I would record live albums exclusively because it brings out his grit and soulful sound in a way that studio albums can't capture. That's not a knock, it is true of many of the best artists. SO many can record well and never produce live, while he's at his best live.

Great album, but it is wildly over-produced. He's got too much of a good, organic sound to make it all foggy and over-produced like that. The producer was not good, IMO.
