  • Sorry but website with templates and plans is now down thanks to hackers and running costs.
    This is quick video to show you how easy it is to mix fiberglass resin, and this is to accompany my Captain America shield build video (amongst others maybe).
    Top tips for working with fiberglass for no hassle...
    Have all materials pre cut and ready if possible
    Work in the shade, keep resins mixed and unmixed in the shade
    Never mix more than you can work with in 10 mins if possible
    Read any instructions or safety sheets
    Always wear full wrap around eye protection
    Work in a well ventilated space
    WARNING!!!
    Copying anything you see in this video or on the website is done at your own risk entirely, the purpose of the video is to entertain and educate.

    Thank you !!! Your mixing instructions are so much easier to understand that what's on the can... which says "use a 1/4 of tube of hardener per 1/4 of a can of resin". It's harder to be exact with such general measurements out of a can . Thank you again !!!!!!!!!!!

      No, at the moment I post every 3-4 weeks because I work full time in between making videos, developing new projects and editing them together. If I get more subscribers I will increase the rate at which I can put out new stuff. Hopefully every 3 weeks, then every 2 weeks, maybe faster if people like my stuff.
      Dont worry, I have lots more stuff to make and post. If you want to see what I'm up to in between videos you can follow me on Facebook and Instagram, once again I will post more often when if I get more popular.
      I dont post all the time because I like to develop and perfect what I do before posting. Hope that cool, thanks.

    It was painful to watch your cleanup. You can clean and reuse that stuff with a little acetone . I've had the same brush for many fiberglassing projects

    • @BrainfooTV
      @BrainfooTV  4 місяці тому +1

      My experience is that you waste more Acetone cleaning a cheap brush than it is worth and the brush bristles go stiff or stick together. Same with a roller. Of course if you want to upload your own video to teach others fair play 👍🏻
