Both nice trailers, I've got a 14ft tag with telescoping hoist myself , love it, the big problem with people saying telescoping is slow is because they have roughly 9ft of stroke versus roughly 24" of stroke with a scissor lift. I don't care about speed personally, as long as it lifts whatever I put in it.

That's how I feel about it too! I never want to be stuck with a load that it can't lift!

Speed of the raise and drop is a mute point, i do not want to shovel it out, telescope ram is a must have. 12" crossmembers front to back is also a big deal. Had a scisor lift that wasn't loaded even. It lifted about 2 ft and folded over, pretty much fubar'd the trailer. 16 pl tires worth the price, many less flats. Ive never had a pintl hitch , may like to try one day. I would likea goose neck but it won't work if i get a f450 dump to pull it, so thats out. Need a 16' to carry the skid and attachments. Thanks for the vid.

Thanks for the comments! I agree, when I bought my trailer, the telescopic lift was number one on the list! Also, you aren't kidding about the 16 ply tires! I've pulled 5 nails or screws out of them and none have gone all the way through! Way worth the investment.

10 gauge is closer to 1/8 inch thick and 7 gauge is closer to 3/16" thick. Etc etc .....

Buy a diamond C. no comparison to any other trailer on market.

There is no doubt that Diamond C makes a really nice trailer. However, they are significantly more expensive for a similarly outfitted trailer. I went through the Diamond C site and configured a trailer to the same specs as my Maxx D. It came out $8000 more! To some folks, that is not an issue, but for a lot of people, it is! The Maxx-D and Lamar trailers are very well built, and a bit more budget friendly.
