    Alex was Born and bred in Glasgow..He's been working now in various Chinese takeaways as a delivery driver for the past few years or so..Most of what he's learnt is just by watching the chefs..
    In all my videos i use a high power burner so cooking temperature's may vary cooking on a normal hob..Not all takeaways will ignite the food the way i do and just cook in the normal fashion..This is just my preference..The most important part is using the correct condiments and you will produce some amazing results..My subscribers are testament to that which i'm pleased about.

    Love it Alex. 👏 👏 Making homemade takeaway in my kitchen is my now my favourite hobby. Another easy to follow recipe and great you even tell us where to buy ingredients. My favourite channel. Keep up the great work.

      Thanks mate..Morrisons have moved with the times and have just about everything you need for Chinese cooking with it now becoming more popular. . You wouldn't believe the amount of stuff they have..It's way of the scale..Who would have thought they would ever sell Shaoxing wine..It's fantastic. I still bulk buy from my local Asian store but Morrisons is just next door to me if I run out of things..Cheers pal.

    P.s. Where would you say the best place to shop for all my supplies would be, I usually go to Matthews in Edinburgh, years ago I used Chan's just of junction 16 M8, that was many moons ago lol.👍

      I don't really have one..Foo Yung is just basically a Chinese omelette and as you said normally with King prawns..I don't have one on my channel possibly because of it's simplicity.Egg seasoning beansprouts and prawns, that's it....I don't think i would make it different from anyone else to be honest..It shouldn't be complicated..Cooked in a wok does make it taste a bit special though..As i said it's just an omelette but tasty all the same..I might get one on someday..Cheers pal..

    Tried it, was amazing. The only problem was noodles sticking to wok, how do you dry them? ( i usually use the rice, and leave it in the fridge to dry)

      Thanks Daren, yeah that can be a problem with the noodles sticking and drying them will make them stick even more. A little tip if the noise start to stick and this applies to rice add some water, never use oil or the dish will end up saturated in oil. Takeaways use this method all the time. The wok needs lubricated and comes in the form of water. As I said if the noodles are completely dry this will only add to the problem. Takeaways also lay noodles out flat on the table just to remove some of the moisture but not completely dry, hopefully this will work for Daren , cheers pal

      Any type of noodles can be used . Rice noodles are difficult to work with but definitely would be excellent with this dish, thanks pal 👍
