I have seen people come in and land them first session and i have seen people struggle with it for a couple of years. Nobody really knows how long it will take you but if you work hard and be persistent you will get it :)
Thanks for this great content ninja! PLEASE I NEED HELP with a significant goal I set 2 myself years ago n I'm still stuck: Learning how 2 backflip, it's not just about sports, seems that somehow I tighly associated that goal 2 my artistic development as well, I feel that until I don't dare 2 jump, I'm "not ready" 2 put out my music either... I did made progress before da pandemic, but now I can't get access 2 a gymnasium, nor 2 a trustworthy spoter, I'm trying weekly with my mattress n watching tutorials but can't get through it yet :(
That's great! I'm glad they are helping and I appreciate you saying that. Thank you :) Keep working hard and i'm sure you will achieve your goals. Good luck with your training :)
Ethan Oh cause a fracture most likely, I’ve fractured my big toe once in taekwondo so my only worry is landing on my toe after a flip which is why I prefer not to do it
Gingerninjatrickster, I also train in taekwondo and I am a 1st degree, you're tutorials are helping me with my training for the 540 kick and other tricks. I look up to you and soon hope to be able to do some of the amazing things you do, just wanted to say that. Thanks! (:
I did my first one out of a roundoff. I put my hands down but I was fine, then I landed it second try :) Standing was scary at first so I whipped like I demonstrated how they usually look when you first get them :)
I was so proud of myself for learning a kip up yesterday also it took me 2 hours only! And I hope I can learn this too! I'm trying to learn a lot meow stuff like this before school starts!
This really helped bevause last week i had my standig back tuck and i stopped doing it over the weekend and i kinda had a mental block and thus week.i kept throwing my.head up and only.focusing on jumping.high but.now when i waych you do the standing.back tuck i already had an idea and started practicing tysm
i love your tutorials man,i dont realy have soft ground i live quite far from the beach but this tutorial gives me some confidence, when i have an oportunity for any of those ill try. Side note: I also like like that you take your time to awnser questions and reply to doubts of the viewers that comment.
Sounds like your doing the whip tuck like I demonstrated in the video. Just focus on the main points like not bending too low, keeping your chest up, etc and you will increase your height in the move. Good luck :)
Hey Arron, I wanted to just say thank you for all your videos. I haven't done TKD is a few years, but I still like to learn tricks and I always remember to look back at your videos. Thanks again man and keep up the good work. (I just done my first back tuck today watching this video lol)
Dude, u rock. U managed to get me back into tiequandoe (Spelled it wrong, I know), and you taught me three kicks in the whole of an hour. So Far, I can do a pretty decent side kick, maybe 3/4 of ur side kick, a 360 roundhouse(Haven't mastered) and another kick which is my favorite. I think its the spin hook kick. Thanks again dude
Well if you go for it by yourself then there's a high risk that it will end badly. I would practice some exercises to help (stretch jumps, tuck jump, etc) and then try it on a trampoline so you have more time and height if something does go wrong but it still can be high risk as you can come off or panic mid way through. The safest way is with a spotter and that's a fact.
I did it today and I was so shocked! I went into a field by myself and just decided to wing it (dangerous I know). I landed on my feet but was leaning forward a tad so I ended up having to brace myself and put my hands out. This video helped to me to improve it and now I can land it any time! Thank you!
I'm glad you liked it and the front flip tutorial is already up on my channel and it's under my 'Flip and Tricking Tutorials' playlist to make it easier to find so check it out and good luck :)
Yes because you can spot the floor to land but it's getting over the fear of the blind take off that is most peoples problem at the beginning. A front flip has a sighted take off but a blind landing and it's also a harder motion for your body to complete when standing. Hope that answers everything and good luck :)
Fear is a big issue and it's understandable as it is a high risk. Practice with a spotter and increase your confidence of trying the move again. Good luck :)
I have seen people come in and land them first session and i have seen people struggle with it for a couple of years. Nobody really knows how long it will take you but if you work hard and be persistent you will get it :)

Depends on the person but in my opinion, if you are confident in going over backwards, the wall flip is easier :)
