In today's episode, we went camping and fishing at a REMOTE OREGON River over Memorial Weekend. We also hiked into a canyon of one of my all-time favorite rivers. Nice fat brookie! Y'all are lucky to have such nice trout fishing out there. Back east here in Ohio, the brookies have been almost completely wiped out by all the pollution and development. There's only one small stretch of stream in the entire state where you can find wild brookies. Sucks because they were native here.

Wow. That’s really sad. I never would’ve known that it was that bad over in that area of the country. Brookies aren’t Native here, but they sure are one of my favorite fish because of how beautiful they are and they can get quite a bit bigger than the ones I was catching. Hopefully, I can go out and do this kind of fishing again and get some bigger ones!
