It's a Light Cycle simulation ride.. the idea of riding a light cycle has been a childhood dream. I'm so happy that the seats were designed and built that way. I understand trying to be as inclusive as possible, however, there are many roller coasters with "non-traditional" seating styles.. We can't please everybody, so make it as cool as possible. 80% of the population will love the seats and style. 100% of Tron fans will love it.
I like that Disney added the alternate seat. I would fit in the regular one but my back would never allow me to stay in that position without pain. So nice to know Disney is at least trying to make a ride more accessible.

I LOVE the Broadway Bradshaws guest appearance on All Ears! So excited to see them again, very nice of them to invite you. I agree 100% with Breedlove GotG was my favorite in all of WDW. I have never seen Tron, I was only merely curious about this ride due to how long it took them to get it up. I likely won't ride for years, if ever. But appreciate all the sharing!

I am a California resident who went to WDW just last month. This was only my 2nd ever visit, and have been to Disneyland millions of times. The 3 best rides are not in California. Tron, Guardians, and Avatar Flight of Passage. Absolutely unbelievable and worth the cross country flight!

I miss the Bradshaws and my only complaint, we didn't get to see Jared say a dad joke and ask Quincy if she got it with Quincy looking annoyed saying she gets it.
Oh, from what I’ve seen, the further back on the train you are, the better that experience will be. Enjoy the ride, folks!
Great to see the cameo by the Bradshaws. The ride looks great, but I saw nothing to explain why it took 5 or 6 years before it opened. The pandemic accounts for some, but not that kind of delay.
Especially if it's just a recreation of the one at Shanghai Disney. You'd think they could bring over some of the imagineers and have them guide the process to speed it along.

I’m not a big person so I’m not worried about not fitting, but what I do worry about is not being able to get out (and stand upright) from leaning forward like that. 😂
Is a great-looking Coast look real comfortable to ride but I still think you have been a good idea if it had been a dueling roller coaster that would have been next level.
My cast member friend got me in yesterday and it was so much fun. Best part was there were literally zero wait times. I loved it!
As a "young at heart" 46 year old, thank you for this and thank you Breedlove for your review! I think when my time comes to ride this I will definitely be choosing the back accessible seat! That position doesn't look comfortable and at my age, I sometimes get random cramps etc and would hate to be on the ride and suddenly have an issue. Thanks for this all ears team!
I could contort myself into the Matterhorn bobsled a few years back so I’m probably going for the car option. All of us that saw Tron in its first run aren’t able to bend enough to fit the lightcycle now

no big drops. most thrilling part is the launch which is similar to test track BUT when youre positioned in the motorcycle position it feels more thrilling
I can not believe how good you looked on the test bike Quincy? I think you are a biker now? Breed love’s game face was Justin Timberlake quality handsome man. That line looked super long, how did it move for you guys?
It moved quickly but this was Cast Member previews so may not be an indication for when the ride actually opens.
I struggle with getting in and out of RNR and space mountain so this should be fun.

Thanks for the review. I'm older, so I (personally) would have opted for the more accessible seat, same as Breedlove did. One thing I would question--not just me but other people on other reviews of the new ride-how uncomfortable would it end up being stuck on one of those seats during a ride breakdown? Something to consider.
What camera didja use?
I'll try this one but might end up doing like Breedlove and riding in the seated one. I am older (66 next time I go in April) and while in decent shape I'm worried about spending any time in that forward position. I'll definitely try the tester seat. If you are wearing a fanny pack as a fanny pack and not a sling, do you still have to store it?
I think so, but don't quote me on that. Brayden on Mickey Views also rode it and he tried bringing on different camera configurations and they basically only let him have a chest mounted camera and any contents in your pockets (like a cell phone) can go in a small compartment on the ride car, but everything else had to go in a ride locker.
Man, that does look like an awkward position to ride. Still looks fun, although it did look quick. What is the run time of the actual ride?
Especially for people with back issues.

I understand inclusiveness and I know we need to be inclusive, but this is a unique experience. As Quincy said, riding in that position changes how the forces exerted on your body feel. Disney did good to include alternate seating, and I don’t think anyone should blame them for producing a unique experience.
Yes, I went on it and the bike seating was different but cool. My brother is 6’1 chunky/husky/fluffy guy and he fit into the bike no problem 🤷🏽♂️. It was awesome to me 😊
My family just did this tonight. They all liked it, but said their chests hurt from the positioning and my one son said his neck hurt the whole time 😮 I have severe anxiety as well as claustrophobia, and couldn’t ride because the back coming up to pin you down is a major no go for me. I know alternate seats would change the ride, but it would be fun to get some of the experience.
How do the seats compare to Avatar?
I had the same question. Seemed kinda similar.
They are the same idea with some key differences. You are leaned much further forward on TRON -- it's further from a standard seated position. The back restraint locks in place on Flight of Passage but has some mobility on TRON. You can sit back a little if you like and the back will move with you -- kind of like a desk chair.

Maybe if I watch Tron, I will get it. The ride looks good, but it’s not on my ‘to do’ list for now. I haven’t seen Guardians of the Galaxy either! (Sorry Breedlove😊)
It needs more visual immersion (augmented reality like Mario Kart Bowsers Challenge).

How was the motion sickness compared to GOTG? If someone got sick on Guardians would they get sick on this one? Just wondering...
I haven't ridden but I would assume someone would be ok on this. Guardians has more screens and it also spins. I haven't ridden either but I get motion sick quite easily and on my next trip will deffo try Tron and avoid Guardians. Not sure about others but coasters tend to be ok for me, spinning and/or screens/3D simulators are what trigger me
This one doesn't have the spin motion of Guardians and it's easier to focus on physical movement around you. It is still relatively intense but doesn't have some of the more challenging visual elements. If you're fine on rollercoasters but have trouble on simulators, TRON definitely doesn't have as many elements that make it feel like a simulator as Guardians.

According to their Instagrams they are!! We got to catch them in the same performance back in December, its a cute show!

Given how incredibly short the actual ride is, if I saw that line, I'd easily conclude "not worth it".
