We all have some places, that for some inexplicable reasons we hold very close to our hearts. Porto is definitely such a place for me. It's nothing crazy, but has changed my life in ways I never imagined. So here's my love letter.

When I visited Porto a few years ago, I fell in love immediately. I wish I could live there! People were so incredibly nice. Also, I really love Portuguese people 🥰 Pozdrowienia z Hiszpanii hihi 💐

As someone who was born and lived in Porto most of my life, I really felt that.
Beautiful love letter, it's a beautiful thing to the able to call it home.
Unfortunately things are changing, fast. I regret not documenting more the changes through the years. Not all bad, mind you. But with time, things change, things disappear and things are missed. And I have such a longing for the Porto I knew. It's changing more and more, fast.
Partially due to intense tourism and people's realization of what I gem Porto is, partially due to the hopelessness that locals feel with how things are being run. Hopefully we can take a turn for the better soon.
Porto, you'll always have my heart.

This is exactly how I feel about Porto. I had the opportunity to live there for almost a year in 2012, and I felt home in those streets and scenerys like I never felt in other places. I'll miss my Porto forever, no mather how many times I come back to visit. Porto is not a place, is a feeling.

I've got random YT recommendation for this video. You've earned instant sub. Breathtaking cinematography, and story aswell. Since I've had chance to live in Lisbon for 6 months, I can relate to everything you've said for Porto, and it gave me instant chills. Even though I love my hometown, nothing will beat Lisboa. Hopefully I'll return to Lisboa soon, as well I hope you'll be back in Porto. Portugal is just completly different vibe, and the magic of cities like Lisboa or Porto is just out of this world. Beautiful.
