Wow, this really is the most incredible video I have ever seen. There are no issues with the audio whatsoever, and those random clicking noises do not bother me even slightly. I am going to like and subscribe. I will wait patiently for the next video, whether it takes five days, or five months to complete. It's not my job to monitor the periods of unannounced absence due to sheer laziness, so I will take it as it comes like a loyal sheep
I remember learning about castling after playing chess for years on and off with my grandpa. I did it one day and he said "Oh you finally learned that?" Ever since then he too has castled and I've never won against him since.
Utterly original, hilariously amusing and incredibly informative. Quite simply one of the best chess channels I've had the good fortune to come across in 5 years 👏
I literally sacrificed my bishop on h6 like that a year ago when I started playing and actually got the mate on h5 with the queen. That phase was hilarious.
I am « new » to chess and I learned the London…. Your comment on this opening made me laugh so hard my wife thought I lost my mind (imagine me trying to explain that to her…). Love your video!
MMuuaaahahaha....most excellent.....I played two supreme Muzio gsmes 30 minutes ago....and had forgoten the name of this Knight sacrifice throu castling line....which is absolutely tooooopest notch....2 piece sacrifices .....endless style & fun....your comments are the icing on the cake man LOL...but I guess everybody below 2000 will easily get offended hahahaha
I would like to add that a ran into this more times that I would care to admit and didn't win a single game. My plan when the opponent plays this is usually resign. I am 1800 btw. Let's just say it works.
If you let stockfish run for a while after Qxd4, it says black is only slightly better (-1.30 ~ -1.50) even though white is down seven whole points of material. This opening is super dangerous for your opponents if they don't literally defend like a machine. It's not unsound shit like the jerome.
"go fuck yourself, its fun" ...which is why we play. Which is why I play the KG in 85% of my games with white. I lose a lot, but I win a lot too. (Lichess - 2165). Chess is a sort of puzzle where one player seeks to find the winning course, while the other seeks to deny it. gambits like this turn the game so that white begins looking to win immediately and black is forced to look towards denial. This leaves white to look for the solution with tempo... a question of time or fprce, really.
I was laughing at this, and thought, wow, stockfish probably says this opening is completely lost on move 3, but no, considering that the evaluation of a position is based on perfect play, and various important things about the position, one of the most important ones being material, being down a full knight is never a good thing, but instead of the evaluation bieng -3, because white is down a knight, it’s -0.5, barely anything, I hate how legit this opening is
the problem is, at the level of... most of us? some of us? the opponent will not do any of those moves and instead do something incredible like... move the a file pawn 2 spaces to get a rook out
“We don’t have an f-pawn, therefore, we have no weaknesses”
This is some Bobby Fisher-tier shit
Where is he? I dunno! I dunno!
That is why I play the Dutch and pray for the gambit lines.

This might be the best chess video I've ever watched.
_silently goes back to playing the London_

Watching your videos is like being in an abusive relationship I don't want to get out of.
🤯

Your grandpa does a little trolling
i think it’s incredibly sweet that he probably lowered his strength to make it more fun for you
aw grandpa goes easy on you
try to do a double muzio on him and see what happens lmao
I had a double muzio in Thailand and it had a happy ending , I felt wonderful afterwards .
if there's one thing Thailand is about... ahem... it's "happy endings"
Utterly original, hilariously amusing and incredibly informative. Quite simply one of the best chess channels I've had the good fortune to come across in 5 years 👏
This is absolutely amazing
0:51 "Do we really need this knight???" 😉 😀
Just watching this gives me a thirst for blood and an unholy sense of power
Okay you made chess look actually epic, and only those who truly enjoy the game and are passionate about it can do that to an outsider
I literally sacrificed my bishop on h6 like that a year ago when I started playing and actually got the mate on h5 with the queen. That phase was hilarious.
Chess has been waiting for a channel like this.
OH MAN I'M GLAD THAT I DISCOVERED THIS CHANNEL!!
2:47 never knew Ben could predict the future
I've never felt greater joy than when this man said I look cool when I sacrifice stuff and win
UNDER RATED CHANNEL , THIS IS PURE GOLD
Love it!!! I’d love to see a C4 opening video. How to use it, or why not to use it.
C4 is too explosive and is banned in most chess formats. Best not to worry about it.
I enjoy your original way of teaching opennings...laugh with the video and learned a lot! Keep it up Rey!!
This might be the best chess video ive watched.... subscribed
their F pawn is weak, and ours is non-existent, therefore we are stronger B)
Love the Kingscrusher timing pic
This is like learning from Gary Chess himself! :D
I am « new » to chess and I learned the London…. Your comment on this opening made me laugh so hard my wife thought I lost my mind (imagine me trying to explain that to her…). Love your video!

How is this guy not the best chess content creator in history?!
Because Jonathan Schrantz exists

Im convinced people who hate the London system hate studying endgames

I almost suffered a stroke watching this.
I am severely inept
I like watching these videos even though I only play checkers

Big fan of the hate for the london system at the end
Looks like we both are London haters. 😂
"The queen is dead" checkmate
1:47 - brilliant
Best chess channel. Omg I found a goldmine!
I don't understand half the things you just said but it does makes me want to play chess.
i fucking love the4se dumb gambit vids. and this one took my cake. uhh the cake
At this point I am not even learning anything just being violated by some guy on the internet.
I was going to use the London for the first time but I like this more and I wasn’t ultra shamed for using it
me a lowly 800 who beat a 2000 cuz of this gambit
THIS VIDEO PREDICTED THE QUEEN DYING OMG
Underrated videos :)
A very entertaining video!
So it’s basically a delayed scholar’s mate where we use several pieces as a distraction?
I would like to add that a ran into this more times that I would care to admit and didn't win a single game.
My plan when the opponent plays this is usually resign.
I am 1800 btw. Let's just say it works.
Me when I sacrifice the d pawn, the knight, the bishop, my family, my life savings, and the f pawn to gain better development and center space:
Hate how relatable this actually is
shout out peter millican for doing a paper on this one
Thanks, MORE
2:46, well.
as somebody that is not stupid, I thank you for getting more people play this trash gambit

@@tellahsage6477 I know my theory to defend this like a machine
We need more crack heads in chess. This shit is wild.
I have no elo left to lose, let's fuckin get it
If the stars align then maybe someone will fall for this lmao
"Avoid it with all cost if you play The London System" kkkkkkkk 😀😃🙂
The Alekhine's Defence would make for a great video!
"the queen is dead" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The thing with these gambits and whatnot is that it relies the person on being a dumbass 10/10 times.
Did only Bobby Fisher play against himself or do many chess players do it?
Lmao the London shade, alright you've convinced me to play this opening, Rating points are overrated anyway.
2:00 BuT WhAt If qF5? iT iS tHe ReFuTaTiOn
the answer to this shit is at 1:33
LOL That deserves a like and sub.
That was 🤩
do a vid about traxler
Seconding
this only seems to apply if they're using the standard chess pieces tho
Ok this is epic
you wanted me to write something into the comments, but I am so clueless in chess that I don't even have a recommendation on a new tutorial etc :y

what does he say at 1:41 ?
Wait until he hears about the triple Muzio gambit (yes it is a real thing)
Your eggs sample
You Rock!!
PLEASE DO THE ENGLUND GAMBIT
