Season 17 Episode 13: Lake Erie Spring Crankbaits

This week on Fishing 411 TV, Mark and Jake Romanack are road tripping to one of their favorite spring walleye destinations. The Port Clinton, Ohio area of Lake Erie is special in the spring time because most of the walleye that call Lake Erie home, spawn on the many shoals and reefs found in an area known as the Bass Islands. In the months of April and also May, visiting anglers can expect epic walleye fishing action. Not surprisingly, Mark and Jake do what they do best, finding and patterning walleye by trolling crankbaits teamed up with Snap Weights and Off Shore Tackle planer boards. For those who consider crankbaits and walleye fishing a way of life, it’s hard to imagine a better spring destination than Port Clinton, Ohio.
