Fishing 411 Season 17 Episode 8: Hoover Reservoir Crappie

For millions of anglers nationwide, crappie fishing is a southern USA phenomena. It’s hard to argue that the American south is home to some of the best known crappie fishing destinations. On this week’s episode of Fishing 411 TV, Jake Romanack enlists the crappie fishing knowledge of tournament professional Mike Six. Mike is an Off Shore Tackle pro staffer who often trolls the Awesome Crappie Board on Hoover Reservoir located near Columbus, Ohio. This unique fishery limits anglers to using a 9.9 horsepower outboard or smaller. The outboard restriction might have slowed down our crew a few miles per hour, but it certainly didn’t prevent them for showcasing one of the best crappie fisheries the north has to offer.
