    Decided to document this as I often get asked how do I decide which multi currency card to use overseas. and yes, I've used Instarem paired with citi rewards, shared some numbers, the opportunity cost etc and other cards like YouTrip, Revolut, Wise, and Trust Bank. Hope this helps! If you enjoyed this video, give it a like, it'll really help with supporting this channel! Constructive feedback is always welcomed!! 🙂

    Assuming a 2.5% cash back (a rather conservative % for conversion with 4mpd), on a $900 purchase = approx $22.50 cash back which is already more than $20 savings vs Revolut

    Hi, I have been watching your videos for help. I thought to share my experience with GXS. I used it during my recent trip to Thailand. As promised, I got close to google fx rates. On top of that I got cash back for overseas spend.
    I linked the card to bolt and used it for all my transport needs while there. Few restaurants mentioned and charged 3% bank fee for cards which is applicable for all cards.
    I thought I’d share my experience for users who may consider GXS. Please note, GXS does not offer cash withdrawals from ATM (local and overseas)

    Hi Demi, Trust card exchange rate is not as gd as Revolut or Wise but the linkpoints (use to offset purchase in Fairprice) they give more that make up for it. For all transactions including overseas purchases linkpoints is awarded.

    Hello Demi, revolut card for the FOC personal standard plan, is there supported currencies like u mention for Korean if I would like to lock in the rates and keep in the app first? As I saw that only Business paid account is able to store currencies.

    I'm a little bit confused about how to use HSBC's everyday global account to set up Giro to pay off other bank credit card bills for example Citi bank credit card?

    wow you know korean :O Btw, in the last part of your video you mentioned that you paid off your bills using only DBS credit card, is there benefits using DBS to pay off the bills, other than the HSBC 1% Cashback?

    Sorry Demi how would you suggest a person spend or change their money in korea? Using revolut? Cash? Or say other credit card assuming a miles chaser please? Thank you.

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  10 місяців тому +1

      Hello! Miles chaser - Citi Rewards with Instarem Amaze at places that accepts card payments, most places do! Revolut to exchange korean won and withdraw there subjected to a free withdrawal limit of 350 if i dont rmb wrongly. Or just change cash in singapore a little for the markets that you’ll visit and those small stalls that sells the fish carp bread etc etc
