At the Baton Rouge velodrome, we had a rider who would come off the track and bunny hop onto his rollers, then remove his jersey over his head. When it was time for his next race, he would take the jersey off the table next to him and put the wet jersey back on, bunny hop off the rollers and ride off to his race.
Thanks a bunch for this video. As a new rollers user I now see what is possible. This really boosts my confidence. I have already started emulating getting on the bike then the bike on the rollers. Big improvement over the clumsy method I was previously using. Thanks again.
This rider proves my point in another YT roller video: excellent form! Rollers produce smooth pedal stroke and well-controlled steering for peloton riding. Plus, the no-hands, one-legged riding is beyond impressive! This is what rollers do: improve technique!
Awesome roller tricks !!! You are my roller model..... oops - role model. It took me nearly two years to come to a state which is just half the way to yours. I love your inspiring video !!! Keep on roling ;-)
Haha, wow! I actually thought you were gna 'jump' your bike on to the rollers at the beginning! Good work; Love the 'Dad, you're such a Dork' comment! :)
Very Cool. I'm after my first set of rollers. Can you change gear whilst on the move? I'd like to be able to get out of the saddle too. Great focus track too.
Well, you obviously have good balance and know how to safely click out of your bike shoes! Awesome effort, was waiting to see you fall over to the right (your left). XD
good job man.. nice one footed no hander.. very impressive, especially getting back in the clips with no hands one footed.. work on your trackstand though.. but i ride a 48/14 track bike so i cant say anything haha

awesome video! nice speedplay pedals. What bike is it?
I know the song , it's the dutch band Focus with the song 'Hocus Pocus'. I wasn't even born then lol... Thumbs if you love that song and endured the love of a man for his bike. Love my Koga Miyata Team Edition from 2009 with Ultegra SL groupset,3T Arx teamstem, 3t rotundo pro 40 cm bars and handbuilt wheels of Sapim butted spokes and xtr hubs(non disc version, know it's odd for a race bike)and mavic open pro rims. Durano Plus 622-25mm tires. And a PRO XLT seatpost with a Brooks Team Pro Titanium
To a casual observer this doesn't look like much - but I KNOW! The standing up at high cadence take a lot of conditioning; and the almost track-stand was most impressive. Back in the day I won a few roller races. Lost a few too when I fell off and landed on the spinning rollers. I still have the nasty burn 30 years later. Also, you've got long sleeves. Bare chest is the only way to do this.
haha respect, but whats up with the wine? and holding stil to click out? and also the trackstand, i havent seen it yet, so is it possible anyways? greets
Best part:
“dad you’re such a dork “

Dork??! You're anything but! That was totally incredible!
Favorite part: 0:17 "Dad, you're such a dork."
Look at the roller drums, this guy has put some serious miles on those rollers.
"Dad, you're such a dork." I love it!
This gives me new goals for the winter indoor training. It gets cold in Berlin, Germany, and I'll be spending lots of time on the rollers and trainer.
thought .. Damn this dude is goofing to bunny hop onto the rollers .. But nope
Me too ^^^^
You've got some mad skills man. You forgot to do a wheelie. Love the Focus by Hocus Pocus, brings back memories from the day. Peace and ride on!!
yup-
i've tried all that stuff and my experience is similar-you just CAN'T close your eyes. everything else is fair game.
mad skills fella. great song too!
"Dad, you're such a dork". Guess you can't do what your daddy does...!
Maybe she is better. Don't underestimate his offspring
Good job on da Rollors... Excellent choice of music .. Hocus pocus By Focus.. The greatest Rock n Roll song of all time !
its hardrock
WOW !!! thank you for the inspiration. Day three of COMPLETELY flunking how to even get on my new rollers.
This felt like a UA-cam video from 2002. I like it
Impressive. You must have really long winters.
Idk if im the only one but I have been getting videos from way back in the 2000s and I like it
Man I know the song in background. I play it with my band. FOCUS FOREVER 😍
Weird flex but okay.
Thanks a bunch for this video. As a new rollers user I now see what is possible. This really boosts my confidence. I have already started emulating getting on the bike then the bike on the rollers. Big improvement over the clumsy method I was previously using. Thanks again.
Great respect for your abilities!!!! I used to ride rollers when I did some mtn bike racing. Kudos man!!!!
Balancing ability level: BADASS!!!
I liked the eyes closed part :D
Big respect for being able to do those things! I'm still learning how to use one properly.
I don't know if anyone who hasn't been on rollers can fully appreciate, but that was awesome...
One leg, no hands: you *are* the man!
fricken' hilarious! I'm just dragging mine out of storage and dusting them off and found this for inspiration. Thanks for the laugh!
Jethro Tull,
ah the "too much cocaine" soundtrack

Been looking at getting rollers. Youre a boss! Nicely done!
Chapeau! I doff my casquette to you, Mon Ami. Those are mad roller skillz.
What kind of rollers are those? I like the large diameter drums.
Great balance. Next I would like to see
1) pedaling backwards on a track bike.
2) breaking on the rollers.
That is so hard to do, you're a bad ass man! I'm inspired to do some stupid shit now, thanks
Impressive. Especially the one leg and no hands biz.
Good job on the rollers. I'm still stuck on the stationary trainer until I get enough guts to invest in a set of rollers.
I saw this at the end of one of the Sufferfest videos. Good job! :)
BEAST MODE!!!
On Rollers
That shit is hard man!!!
ROFL congrats!!! thats a nice cylo-tainment!!!
you're very good on the rollers
Rock on to the Hocus Pocus!
Chapeau. Dude those are some impressive skills!
12 years later love this video!
One day, I hope to be a dork like this man.
Nice skills, if I only could learn how to stand up on the rollers to cool off from time to time
Bravo! Tried rollers, once, wow, very steep learning curve which I never ascended, lol.
Nice! Hopefully someday the kid will grow up to be half the dork that Dad is! :P
Awesome roller tricks !!! You are my roller model..... oops - role model. It took me nearly two years to come to a state which is just half the way to yours. I love your inspiring video !!! Keep on roling ;-)
Bloopers were funny. Cool video!
Dad is killing it!
This guy is fit! Can't believe he has a daughter old enough to call him a dork.
Simply beautiful work!
Man it must be cold in there... leg warmers, arm warmers, and a hat? Jeeze :)
Wow! Very impressive! I'm going to have to try some of those things.
She needed to end the video with another "Dad, your such a Dork".
Very cool video. I love my roller but do not have the balance that you do. Way to go.
High five for skills, music and son!
Haha, wow! I actually thought you were gna 'jump' your bike on to the rollers at the beginning! Good work; Love the 'Dad, you're such a Dork' comment! :)
at 4:54, hahaha can't stop laughing. ;) nice skills, nice video!
The track stand is literally impossible without a single speed bike...but thanks for trying, amazing skill bro
magic skills, should the front roller be in line with front axle ?
dang that was amazing! rollers are so hard and pedaling with my eyes closed freaks me out haha
Nice skills mate... beyond me !
ok now i want to see a wheelie and bunny hop.
thats not being a dork thats amazing!!!!
I love how he's indoors yet he is wearing a hat + arm warmers + leg warmers = WTF
Enjoyable. Look forward to your next mini flick. Steve
My favorite cycling video!
XD
Why riding a bike is cool. Training on rollers to be a smoother more efficient cyclist is another reason. Rock on Marco!
wow, hands down mate. I just won't do it because I love my bike so much
Dad your such a dork lol priceless
Amasing skill! I just got my rollers yesterday and need many hours of experience still, they are difficult.
In all honesty how many of us watched this video hoping he would come of the rollers and smash into the camera...HAHAHAA great bike skils sir
depends. i have a tacx satori blue and its ok. make sure you get a training tyre if you're gonna use one because it wares your tyre really quickly
Love it. Made me smile.
Haha wow. This actually takes a lot of skill.
he's Italian, they are born on rollers... great stuff!
The no hands, one leg thing is quite hard! I tried it before ;D
+Jasper demeester that really depends on your position and bike geometry. If you felt confident enough to try it, your got a good package.
I fell on my face though ;D
Jasper demeester sorry to hear that-but bike are meant for riding on the open roads, not cylinders indoors. ride long ride hard ride free.
yeah that's what i usually do! But some goofing around is fun sometimes ;D
and that concludes his whole workout lol!
good job man.. nice one footed no hander.. very impressive, especially getting back in the clips with no hands one footed.. work on your trackstand though.. but i ride a 48/14 track bike so i cant say anything haha

Nice! I didn't know they MADE 8 inch rollers.
Focus Hocus Pocus! Nice choice
Great reflexes popping out of the pedals. What kind do you use?
I always almost fall off stationary bikes, this one looks really crazy, they have one like this at my gym though- out of control, almost photochopped.
I can't like this enough.
@Cowfloppy He is in a Garage, which can be nearly as cold as outside since most are not heated. it might well have actually been cold!
What do u wear when your riding on the road if you wear that in the garage
try hoping bike off the side of rollers, track stand, then hop back sideways onto the rollers again, that'sa nice one ;)
Epic song, didnt know some people still had a good taste in music anymore...
To a casual observer this doesn't look like much - but I KNOW!

hehehe good job, and the dork comment yeah .... I love it
Do rollers give a good workout--better than just spinning?
Very nice, but the no handed one foot seemed to be an edited loop of one good pedal stroke......aside from that great video, nice job, dork. ;)
Which rollers are those??? I'm looking into getting some and those look better than what I usually see.
I just started using roller a month ago. How long do you need to be this smooth?
For me, just staying upright on rollers is a pretty good trick...
How the hell did i get here from agressive rollerblading?
same to do. great riding experience!
