In NFSU2, it was called "Street X". It was my favorite event, along with Drift. In TDU2, off-road race events are super easy. The AIs are clearly not fast on dirt roads. And it may sound cheating, but you can cut corners since there is almost no bounds or checkpoint penalty.
Hated for a reason and i hate them from the bottom of my heart, cars are too unpredictable and uncontrolable at least from my experience car is all over the road, never had a worse off road experience
FUEL can be a good potential to be a "OPEN WORLD MOTORSTORM" but it feels empty and barebone, especially in world atmosphere, beside the Tornado there's nothing to offer
Hopefully Lancias will come back to The Crew Motorfest in less than a month to make the Rally Cars list even spicier, and also more rally events, we really need more of those, there are only 2 Rally cross events in the game

But "Checkpoint Missed" penalty always returned in FORZA HORIZON 5.

In nfs unbound there are the offroads playlists that have arrived online.

You have playlist with different types or vehicles and events.. from drift, to race to offroad
I rwd swap every rally car in Horizon. AWD is too easy to drive.
