Thank you! One thing I’ve noticed from wearing these myself is that the plastic ones tend to melt if you like to cook and are near heat. The apres are a soft gel and they did great! I had them in for 3 weeks with no breaks or melting before I soaked them off😃This video was so helpful. I’m a nail tech in California and I really appreciate your help💕
That's interesting ! I am going to have to try these aprés tips now. I am forever burning my press ons with a lighter 🙈 I'm glad you found it helpful, thanks for sharing your experience 😘
@@licnagospodicna Hi there. I’ve seen other soft gel full cover tips as well but they have to ordered online. Kiara Sky is another one I would recommend.
I am new to doing my own nails and have just recently been getting into them the past 2 months or so and you really help me and guide me in thr right direction you explain it all so well and I'm never left confused 😊Thankyou 💕xx
So glad I found you! I'm starting a press on nail vlog and I'm hoping to really learn the proper techniques. ❤ I just uploaded everything I ordered personally and cannot wait for them to arrive. Thank you for sharing!
I just discovered your blog, and then you videos. Bless you for sharing all this information! I have a question - I know some customers like their fake nails to be thick, like salon gel or acrylic nails. Would your recommend customers sizing up if we use hard gel or acrylic, since the nail will be more rigid?
Thank you ! If you're going to use gel or acrylic, I recommend sending 2 of each size. Because while they will remain the same size in millimetres, they will be as you said more rigid. And so if a person has flat nails, they may not be able to get the tip to stick on without pinching their nail bed. But they can use a larger size and file some away from the sides to get the perfect fit.
I was wondering where you get your boxes from and what things do you give to your customer when your giving it to them. I am starting my own business so I really want to know thx
I need your advice. I bought BTR box French and the gel top coat keeps peeling off! Any advice I use alcohol over the nail before applying the product to help it stick.
@katarinasimeone1358 hiya :) alcohol won't make the nail sticky for application. If that's all you have, but the nails to take the shine off, then wipe with alcohol, then carry on with the application of your polish. I prefer to just wipe them with acetone as it melts the nail slightly, leaving a sticky surface . Hope this helps x
Thanks for the video! You suggest not using hard gel but if you are adding gems that you want to stick on properly hard gel is normally used to adhere the gem so is one thin layer of hard gel okay or would you suggest something else?
That's ok. 😊 Some people use hard gel and acrylic to create the nails and have no problems. I guess it depends on the tips you're using. I would only use the hard gel for gems, in the area that was getting gems. But if it were a full gem nail, I guess there's no way around it. Best thing would be to give it a try with your products and see how it goes. Xo
Hi Courtney. Thank you so much for your video. I do have a question if you dont mind answering. What brand of the nails are the ones you were referring to at 3:55. I'm just starting out and curious. Thank you.
I tried to do a set for myself and used dip powder and the whole tip shrunk in size? I couldn’t begin to fit it was so thick and I only did one dip..It was weird..I love gel now lol
Yea! Even with too many layers of topcoat, these will do that too. People say they size up when using acrylic or whatever but I've not tried it, have you?
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie Yes I did use a size bigger and it still was too chunky and I wouldn’t have been able to fit it on the nail! Also there was a gap in between where the cuticle is… I don’t know if it shrunk or what but it seemed a lot smaller
Nails with Courtney Crosbie I store my nail extensions in one of my husbands drawers to his fishing tackle boxes. New and unused of course, and I don’t think he even noticed!! ❤️❤️

What kind of nail glue do you send out?
the best glue I have found is from the Edge :)
How you give information to your customers abt how to measure thr nails
I made a online picture tutorial and I send it to them through messenger or email.
can i use regular polish on press on nails ?
Yea, just make sure you leave it to dry for 12-24 hours before you try to apply them.
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie thank you🤗 and can i use gel top coat on regular polish🤔
@@tza444 yea, but definitely leave the regular polish to dry for 24-48 hours before applying the gel topcoat x
Hi where did you get the kit to keep your hairs in?
I bought it in a random shop in Germany. I think it's to put screws and stuff in. Your local hardware shop will sell them.
