I swear I watch this video once a month!!!! DAAAAAAYUUUM that for me is the ultimate pen. The first time I saw a 360 I was hooked. Then I got to write with one, I was done. Then I saw the Wild Celluloid, and now the hunt is on! Such a stunning pen 😍
Thank you Stephen! You know that the 360 is probably my favourite model and every time you review one of these it is a pleasure for me to watch. It is really nice that you are still reviewing pens after so many years. I really appreciate it.
Thanks for the review Stephen. You make a good point about trying a triangle shape out. My very first fountain pen was sold to me at the Fountain Pen Hospital in NYC and it was a Lamy Safari. I remember looking at its grip and thinking "no way will that work". But I found it to be exceedingly comfortable to use. Of course that's not exactly a costly fountain pen, so trying a 360 out makes sense. I know you also enjoy a traditional/conventional color, but for me, the Wild celluloid is much preferred over anything more conservative. That was fun to watch. Thanks again!
The celluloid 360's are all standard/full size. To give an idea of the scale, the lenghts are: 16cm for the Magnum, 15cm for the standard/full size, and 14cm for the Mezo. The Mezos are cartridge only fillers. The Magnums are all piston fillers. The standard/full size pens are mostly piston fillers, but a few were made with the standard international cartridge only ACS (Advanced Cartridge System).
I haven't written with one, but given that it has an OMAS nib and that I do like triangular sections and grips in general, I have a pretty good idea in which category I will fit...
Hi. Thanks Murray for lending DocStephen your pen. Ive always liked the Omas 360 ever since you reviewed your black magnum model ages ago. The price is out of my league. Shame someone doesn’t make one out of precious plastic ! ! 🤪. Best wishes to all PenPeople LeZc @@
Ugh. I didn't think of that until you mentioned it. I've gotten into the habit of trying to twist any pen I'm handed. If it doesn't unscrew then it's a snap cap. Right? I'm not sure if somebody handed me one of these that I would remember not to twist. And it seems that twisting one of these would be worse than trying to pull off a screw cap. 🤦♂️ Otherwise it's a gorgeous pen! I really like Omas cap bands, but this one being non circular just makes it that much more impressive. You knew the question I was going to ask... I enjoy triangular grips, except that I want the nib rotated just a few degrees off center. Not that I'll buy one of these, but thanks for the warning.
Wow, that is a really lovley pen, I really want an omas 360 but they are so expensive! The wild celluloid is incredible to be honest any omas 360 is incredible, great video :)
Thank you so much for this eye-candy today and a few days before, after some reviews of pens that did not really appeal to me. I love the material ánd the nib very very much (I own the Galileo Galilei) and love to see it with others too. The 360 model certainly attracts me a lot. For me it is a cool pen. Maybe one day I will be able to afford and find one. Thank you again for the review!

Great review as usual. Just a query, isn't Omas pens would be manufactured by another Italian penmaker Ancora ?
Thanks Stephen .
What was wrong with your magnum? Where did you send it? And the Mezzo is the cartridge converter version.
The piston assembly broke.

love my 360 magnum!
I like the design and the materials but I'm not sure of the triangular shape.
Love my 360, but at the same time I almost never use it because it dries out too quickly.
I too prefer the size of magnums
