Thank you for the comparison. I definitely consider to get an Action 4, it will add up to the Pocket 2 on the possibilities I'll have to shoot. And for the Pocket 2, you can shoot 4K 30/60 fps on D-cine, but without the Do-it-all handle. I'm constantly shooting on 4K/30fps-yes, just walking tours for now and I'm thinking to make something else-and if I need to use the phone, I connect it to the Pocket 2 through the adapter and a combined phone/Pocket 2 holder that grips both firmly. That way I can continue to shoot in 4K/30/60 D-cine. Yes, that limits the freedom to use the phone from a distance but... well, nothing is perfect. Have a nice weekend.
I didn't think about using it without the do it all handle. I'm usually using the wireless mic. Thanks for pointing that out. I love my pocket 2 still. Can't wait to see if they actually drop a pocket3.
@@EddieStudios For the walking tours I'm doing for now, the built-in mics does a perfect job for capturing the sound ambiance. I experiment talking to the camera using the built-in mics and it seems to me they do very good job for walking and talking if there's not to much noise around. But as I intend to change the style of my vids, I have to find the way to cope with the limitation of the Handle and match the Normal and D-cine shots in post before starting to shoot a different style of videos. Hope it's doable. And also waiting for the Pocket 3.
Do you have any footage I could view? You could connect with me on IG if that makes it easy to show me some. Also, what settings do you typically use. I feel like I've tried all of them on mine. But, also, my mount could suck.
I dont have P2 , but I somewhat agree with @PrestonGladd comment, there are some video compare P2 with A4, you can refer this one, ua-cam.com/video/22Kq1GhymwQ/v-deo.html . BTW, the footage which you took with P2 while ridding is the worst stablization video I have seen on UA-cam. @@EddieStudios
The door probably just pops off like the og action did. There is a little trick to get it back on though. Yeah I had no luck with the pocket 2 on the bike but did with the action 2. Love my DJI wireless mics they work great. Keep thinking about the action 4 but really love the A2 form factoor so we shall see. My A2 does pretty decent on the bike.
I used the 10bit log profile and set it to auto exposure for most of the video. I did do some color grading in DaVinci Resolve. It shoots really nice video for an action camera for sure.
I have used osmo p 2 several times on the bike. Your settings on the camera are not set correctly, my recordings are not shaken. find other recordings on you tube from cycling, they are not shaken
Being able to use log at up to 4k 120fps stands out to me a lot. But I want a touch focus!
It is weird you can't touch focus. Or, track focus. I mean, most phones even have track focus.
Can't wait to use this, and spice up the travel videos over here!

The difference in Stabilization on the bike is so drastic. The action 4 seems like a really good camera.
It's the best looking footage I've gotten while riding my bike for sure.
Was it in Rocksteady+?
It crops in a little bit more, giving better stabilization for more intense movement.
action 4 has digital stabilization, pocket 2 is a mechanical gimbal that cannot dampen vibrations
Before I make the switch to the action 4 from the pocket 2. I'm going to wait and see what they do with the pocket 3 that leaked.
I'm just sitting here in anticipation! 😆
True but the leaked video is really something from DJI or its just a hoax amd bubbles in the market
Your pocket 2 is damaged, it doesn't do that on my motorcycle at 60MPH.

Glad to hear I'm not crazy.. About my Pocket 2 not doing well on the bike.😂 I liked my action 2 when I had it.
nice vibrant look! what is your video setting in Action 4? Do any tips, please?

thanks! now I shall wait for your color grading video titled ->"How to Color Grade using DaVinci" if you allow ;)@@EddieStudios
Thanks for the comparison Eddie. Love from India.
May I know if the Action 4 was in any Gimbal.
It was not. I held it in my hand for the running tests. No stick or anything. Just camera in hand. Pretty good stabe without effort.
@@EddieStudios then its amazing. May I know were you using Rocksteady or Rocksteady+ for stabilization in Action4
On the bike, rocksteady. When I was running, I put on the screen what I was using at different times.
Молодец! Хороший обзор, мои выводы совпадают с твоими.

Are you handlebar mounting yours? I've tried all kinds of different settings. It never turns out great for me.
And the lowlight?
I'm going to be doing other videos on it in the next week. I will be testing out the low light for sure. Keep your eyes open for it.
