How & Why We Went Plant based and Vegan With Minus the Gym

  • Me and Ryan will share how and why we went plant based and vegan. We wanted to talk about what results we had, what we found difficult, what was the trigger to us making this change. If you have a story to tell about how you went plant based or vegan, what results you had, what you enjoyed or found difficult make sure to share down below. Going vegan can be hard for some people, some struggle eating out, to being social with friends and family, some struggle with the dogmas associated with it. Hopefully hearing our perspectives will make it easier for you or even give you motivation or tips to start for yourself. For me and Ryan we were initial motivated by our health and why we say plant based as opposed to just vegan because you can eat vegan food like junk food and its not healthy for you, we focused on plant based sources of food, these are the most nutritious foods you can eat and gave the benefits we talk about in this video.

    A great point with trying to eat other than WFPB! I recently moved back home and my mom has been getting me to try and eat out or even use Beyond Meat in meals, but I just don't feel good at all afterwards. She just doesn't understand as she hasn't made the switch herself. I often turn down getting delivery, for pretty much anything. I would rather even do something as simple as having potatoes, beans and veggies with mushroom gravy.

      They have a place and can be ok every now and then but prefer whole foods, really enjoying my tofu atm though

      @@LeeDowningKeat Yeah, I'll leave that for when I go out, otherwise WFPB baby! I don't buy tofu as legumes/lentils are way cheaper. Might do that when/if prices for groceries change or money isn't as tight.

    I eat salad about 400-700 gramm daily. Just big salad 150g arugular, 100g Pepper, 1 Avocado 100g, 150g Feta cheese, 100 cucumber and some sauerkraut etc. Its not even a lot tbh. For almost 2 years now. Have not really lost that much weight, only about 4 to 8 Grams. But when i dont eat a salad, i feel starved. Was recently eating a pizza and craved salad afterwards... the delivery Fonds dont satisfy me

      They don't satisfy because they lack true nutrition, whole foods are best
