Jan it’s me again. I watched this about 5 times haha because I am having such a hard time learning this program. I get stuck at the 53.55 point of your video because whenever I try to save something it goes into my machine memory where it only lets me save about 9 designs then I need to delete some if I want to add designs. I see at the 53.55 point you say let’s see where the designs go and you tell us to tap on the Wi-Fi icon and the designs appear there….for you lol not me. When I tap that icon all I get is info about my machine being connected to Wi-Fi. What am I doing wrong? I just can’t seem to wrap my head around this. I have the babylock flare machine. Thanks
Hi Eileen! Which machine do you have? The machines don't all have the same abilities when it comes to saving. Some of the icons are a little different since they have introduced Artspira (if you have Brother)
Can you print templates from BDT as I try printing and everything prints the same size regardless of my settings and do I need to use another embroidery software with this?
Design Database transfer will print a catalog of designs, but doesn't print full size templates for placement. You can download the free Dime Embroidery Tool Shed to do that at inspiredbydime.com
Hi Judy! You have to put your designs on your computer or on a USB plugged into your computer and navigate in the left pane to that folder first and then transfer as I show in the video. Download your designs and save them on your computer after you purchase them.

Hi Dianne! I wrote some notes some years ago about the PE Design 11 Design Database (which is the full software you purchase), but did not rewrite them for Design Database Transfer. The two programs are very similar, but the free version is missing a few things (like it does not convert formats or write cards or USB's) I was following these notes as I made this video so I could keep my thoughts together.
