I love the idea, But with all the problem that where having, there's lots of homeless people that can't afford them and there are a lot of young people that like to steal or beat some homeless people so that what little money they get, they get beat up, because if they want protection these homeless people have to pay, to feel safe . I spoke with 14 of them and they where scared to say who these youngsters are for fear of been killed. I don't hear anyone trying to investigate this. This is sad. I always said that if I had money thoses who want to have a place, I would help them. Theres so much money been spent on party's in things that don't make sense. Lets try to help these people first with there mental health, before they hit the street.
First things first....KUDOS TO ALL OF YOU that recognized then took a positive step by creating these very unique, functional and cozy homes for those in need!! I wish nobody needed them, but, alas so many do and it is a growing situation that far too many have tried to ignore or criminalize when compassion and action were most needed. Maybe now, with these great looking, functional, cost-effective homes, more cities and neighborhoods will take another look at getting our homeless friends into a weathee-resistant comfy place like one of these. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Peace to All of Us!!;)
As a former potential FEMA employee, which never went through before the hurricans started and all the major flooding, there are at least 5 models FOR SURE that COULD HAVE made a MAJOR difference for the homelessness experienced by good American families during these disasters. Heartless states who have a zero budget for the homeless like mine, could also benefit from the 'Community' options here while fighting the uphill battle of getting state budgets more humane.... I like the kind they homeless can tow behind their bikes. Now to make their bikes electric AND solar for their lack of budget and severely challenged health issues they many times suffer from without remedy.... I am touched beyond measure that you took the time for awareness. Thank you and God bless your work in this arena. May His favor overshadow you and our challenged communities.
An amazing presentation and demonstration. Didn't know any of this existed. It's a great comfort to know we have men and women out there coming up with just wonderful concepts for types of situations. Thank you for sharing and God bless you all.
This was one of the most interesting videos for me. Each one is excellent. - - Back in the day, i spent several years hitchhiking across the U.S. working summers up north, winters down south. I primarily used bridges as shelter. ( Newer designs make this impossible). Of course it was a different time back then, but the homeless are ever with us ( for many various reasons). 👍🙂‼️
I like the accordian-folding shelter that's meant to go over a bench. Perhaps not very workable in reality but still a VERY cool idea for emergency shelter.
I believe all human's should have a place to relax and unwind. The one community of tiny homes I saw recently was for veterans only. Now I have nothing against vets. but all life is worth a place any place. Myself and my mate and our little dog found ourselves homeless two summers ago. I'm 53 now and I've always been in the woods I worry for those that haven't.
Brilliant ideas all! It would be awesome to see some, if not all of these innovative ideas used by companies as well as private individuals and groups to help others in need wherever they're needed. The recent tragedy in the Bahamas would be a great place to start but there's a very long list of equally deserving places that could benefit from such brilliant and compassionate creativity as well. EXCELLENT video!
In Ireland the housing standards are so strict none of this is acceptable except for an emergency. God bless the homeless. If you find yourself homeless remember this chapter doesn't define YOU. Keep hope and stay good
Awesome video,,,thank God someone else, is thinking about the homeless theses all are great ideas ,, I hope to see a end to homelessness ,,, I pray for it in fact ,,, but it's just getting worse ,,, thank you for posting this
Hi Guys. Great work pulling all these together. My daughter is working on a concept for a temporary shelter and this is great research for her. Fortunately hers is different from these so she won't be copying anyone! Thank you.
I'm bookmarking this to look into the cool shelter/housing options. Also that coat that makes into a sleeping bag is phenomenal. Thank you for making this.
There is another shelter that should be mentioned here. The name is Iglou. A guy in France designed and makes them for homeless people. The cool thing about his design is that it is small and very well insulated. Therefore the sleeping shelter can heat up just from the heat your body naturally produces. Being able to heat a shelter from your own body heat is amazing.
Thanks for the heads up. That sounds familiar, Iglou, we may have posted about it in the past, either way, I'll look it up and if we haven't featured it before I'll include it in a future video. Thanks for watching.
Seems to me like the ideal temporary shelter material would be corregated card board. It can be coated with spray on waterproofing or a tarp across the roof. It could be rested above the ground on waterproof platforms like plastic pallets if needed. The user could even coat the inside walls with a mylar emergency blanket for insulation. And when you're done simply bury it somewhere and it will decompose. I bet I could build a card board shelter that lasts 2 years, which is then compostable.
Really liked the hope tell the last one. Thank you for your mention of Detroit in one of the tents. Disputes all the homes here, many are not inhabitable. This is a short term solution, but a workable one. Thank you this vid, will copy information for further use to help people.
California has several hundred thousands tents in so called tent cities lining many of the roads for miles since poor people cannot afford rent due to the high taxes on everything including property taxes which increase price of rent. It is unbelievable the amount of people living in the tent cities out west. You will not see it on the news but you can see it at times on You Tube.
I love that you find so many great and innovative things that feed my imagination and give me home. Thank you! #1 looks amazing, justifiably deserves that #1 spot.
Ever since those aluminum carports that are all over for less than a thousand bucks installed, would be a great start for a dwelling. They have sides and doors/windows available and at least would be water proof. I'm sure there would be an affordable way to insulate them for harsher climats. Put up tarp sides in warmer areas. A wood or coal or pellet stove would be perfect as it wouldn't catch on fire. You could load a bunch of them on a transport plane, truck, Ship, or rail cars to a place that had tornadoes etc. Fast and easy to build. Easily movable when erected.
I congratulate you on your creativity and fascinating design possibilities. All look like a positive response to homelessness. I could live in a few of them that don't require ladders.
In my city some hotels were given to the homeless priced on a sliding scale - an armed guard was placed at the entrance, no smoking , no cooking, no drugs or alcohol plus no visitors in rooms - waiting room only. They can have a small fridge in room. Works fairly well except for fires from electric stoves & a few fights
We had something similar after WWII in the U.K. Prefabricated 3 bedroom little houses that arrived in sections and were bolted together. They lasted about forty years.
I’m in love with this channel! Love the content and it doesn’t discriminate since it shows something in every price range,Great to see people thinking of others with these short term shelters. Bravo guys!
I just wish more community leaders were educated and open minded enough to use any of these options. I live in Las Vegas Nevada and our homeless community is growing out of control and the solution they have come up with is once a week the police select a sector of the city to round everyone up and cart them all off to jail. Often having not broken any jail worthy laws. It's pitiful 😢
These ideas have been out there for a few years now but why doesn't cities like Los Angeles or similarly afflicted cities with skid rows utilize these items??
I can't say which idea I liked the best because I liked every one of them ... the fact that they all address the homeless situation around the world is what impresses me. Well done and an outstanding video. Thanks for sharing. ((The bench seat in the parks that can expand to offer shelter is so simple a fix ... or at least a help .... I do hope it catches on ... stay humane.
Number 7 seems weird. Number 14 stops my breathing by just looking at it. Number 1 reminds ,e of projects. I never want to live that close to any humans.
Are any of these for sale I was thinking it would be nice to have 1 for myself in case of emergency I needed it also I t would be nice to get 2 more for 2 homeless couples I know in desperate need of houseing
Good ideas. We can use some immediate shelter concepts because people all over the world are experiencing tremendous weather changes which we are being forced into accepting. Thank goodness Minds Eye Design is prepared for such changes. Here in the United States we are experiencing a lot of rain and water born storms in the middle states making many people living in Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky and A few other states victims of water based catastrophies that happen over and over again and again. If there are any innovators who know how to make floating habitats people all over the world might be needing them soon. I don't think scientist have a clue of how the melting ice in the north pole regions are going to impact our terrain and dry lands and mountains in the next 10 years. If we are going to survive these incredible weather changes we better learn survival techniques really fast. Some of us might make it, and some of us won't. Those who prepare now can make a difference for those who won't do anything but stick their heads in the sand. Thanks Minds Eye Design.grateful to you.
Wow, Thank you, I don't do Camping, and Thanks God I have a house, and I would like to buy 4 of them, the Jacket, etc. This great products can't be the solution for homeless, because of the prices and the City permits and regulations. You have my like, and a new subscriber. 👍👏👏👏👏
Thanks for watching everyone! 😍

@@aidamelendez7775 none of this is about "saving lives", my friend, it's about "making money". I suggest you learn how to live as a "free person".
This needs to be shared with the news
i love the converted bench and the prefabs structures

I love this video the must. Because it shows that someone is realizing that other people need shelters other than people that have money to do so.
These are not homeless shelters..
As a former potential FEMA employee, which never went through before the hurricans started and all the major flooding, there are at least 5 models FOR SURE that COULD HAVE made a MAJOR difference for the homelessness experienced by good American families during these disasters. sadly the people steering this ship have lost faith in the good Lord, but God is good and the end result will be good like His works are
A very helpful addition to help people be able to sleep more safely and not be homeless .The ideals are good and people will be safe .
There is so much need of these. The cities need to do more for the homeless, this gives them options
This is what we may need in our ministry.
An amazing presentation and demonstration. Didn't know any of this existed. It's a great comfort to know we have men and women out there coming up with just wonderful concepts for types of situations. Thank you for sharing and God bless you all.
These are all great and useful for the homeless. These could end the homeless problem.
yeh but who will pay for them the homeless cant.
It's more convenient . For them
This was one of the most interesting videos for me. Each one is excellent.

Several are unique and show real promise for affordable housing for the homeless ... our greatest problem.

Superfanstic Video. Thanks for sharing
I truly believe that those Bench tents are worth my dollar,I would support by buying 5 for my town
Thanks for sharing Minds Eye.
Great to see a company that cares about the underprivileged. I hope your prices reflect that, too.

Number 13 is my favorite because I like hiking and camping in the winter months.
They all have certain strengths and weaknesses, and some are actually quite cool.
Nice to know there are those, who don't just care about money, and themselves only!
In Ireland the housing standards are so strict none of this is acceptable except for an emergency. God bless the homeless. If you find yourself homeless remember this chapter doesn't define YOU. Keep hope and stay good
Every city throughout the United States should have shelters for the homeless.

Many nice inventions

Glad to be of help. Thanks for watching.
Its great and inspiring when good people come up with great ideas. Great minds disuse ideas, solutions and inventions. Peace people's
I'm bookmarking this to look into the cool shelter/housing options. Also that coat that makes into a sleeping bag is phenomenal. Thank you for making this.
Number six and the homeless haven are my two best picks

The governments in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle should be interested in these concepts to start helping solve the homeless issues.
Those are great shelters...great minds who invented them..💛
Great job guys
You should have included the cost of the units for city planning purposes. Good video!

Great ideas...
Now ship a ton of these to our homeless vets and citizens for free.

Lots of great ideas. I hope they all get contracts!
Very nice.
Some amazing ideas, shame they wont be cheap enough for everyday Joe's and Jane's to buy.
You saw the prices?

Some great ideas, I am for anything that can be used to help the less fortunate.
Karen Vickers Dear love the less fortunate cannot and never will be able to afford these
Winter is coming and The Bush is gonna be getting Cold soon 🙄 They All Looks Awesome 🙏
The Empowerment Jacket looks like a good one for those that roam.
Cool stuff
I’m in love with this channel! Love the content and it doesn’t discriminate since it shows something in every price range,Great to see people thinking of others with these short term shelters. Bravo guys!
The Empowerment Jacket looks like a good one for those homeless that roam around.
wo this is new
Excellent temp homes
Yes they are
Number 4 is pretty good though
These are amazing!!! I hope companies keep up the compassion work !!!
I like the homeless haven. . The Wheelie & Humanihut...!
Very interesting ideas!
Imagine USA gov. Making less war and helping more people 😶

Thank you Reacher once again you have made mum happy . she is 89y/o . Mum is starting to like Glen now to
Homeless but also tentative looks great
The music is at just the right level, like a mosquito buzzing my ear, not as loud as a mosquito.
Si on voulait vraiment sauver des vies il y a longtemps qu'on aurait dû s'y mettre.
These ideas have been out there for a few years now but why doesn't cities like Los Angeles or similarly afflicted cities with skid rows utilize these items??
The EDAR if I remember right the one that like a push cart that has breaks.. Very cool and it's movable..
Cassy is pretty awesome, but Amber is still No.1 to me.
This one of the best subjects ME has covered.

Awesome video... Great job.
All the the shelter designs are cool and interesting. The ones I like the most is the tiny house community and the bench type shelters.
The last one reminds me of "The Stacks" from "Ready Player One".
Awesome shelter ideas tho
Interesting ideas.
Thanks!
Thank you for compiling this. Very interesting.
I know someone that lives in a 19-foot ice fishing shanty full-time year around. It isn't bad it's just over-crowded.
Oh look at all of the possibilities for quick homeless shelter
In LA CA they live in tents & use the alleys, sidewalks plus streets for a toilet
@@jwarmstrong same in Portland

Love it great job
These are great ideas. Humanitarian...were moving in a good direction. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Incredible multi sales themes in one video. Thanks for sharing MED.
really nice and quick...could be used for any number of things. Fantastic.
When all the jobs outsourced return ... I'll be impressed.

Granted, I can fit into my old coal shute. Good to know.
You missed by far the best. A concrete tent. All it needs is water to make it a long lasting concrete structure.
Nice
Other than number 7 this is a great inspiration vid I needed for my project
Glad to help. Thanks for watching.
