Nice demo and kit work. I have a ton of UVI libraries and they do make excellent stuff but let me ask you regarding this... would this really be your go-to sample player for live e-drums? I've done some tests with Apisonic Labs Speedrum and it really does have incredibly low latency with pads. Still building my optimum kit for it. Cheers.
Garflips, thanks for the kind words. It isn't my first choice for live sounds from an edrum kit, unless you absolutely love these sounds the FX it has. I checked the software you mentioned -- if it serves you well, looks like a good choice. Latency is 95% audio interface and 5% the plugin (in my opinion). What kind of music are you playing?
@@eDrumsandVSTs I compose in a fairly broad spectrum of styles - fusion probably sums it up. I'm primarily a guitarist but also play some keys, wind and I do have a percussion and trap kit. I opted not to get Soul Drums for now as I already have option paralysis. I've got Ujam drums as well as Soniccouture Sun Drums & Moon Kits. And then there's Speeddrum, Ableton Live and a zillion samples.🙂 In the end, none of it sounds as good as a living breathing drummer, but It's logistically a lot easier.
@@Garflips Ive been meaning to look into ujam drum stuff. Ive been doing this so long that I have so many sample libraries to go through on this channel. I do not have sun drums yet...ive been wanting it though! Moonkits looked interesting also but I personally have little need for a brush-based kit currently. Would you recommend sun drums for funk/dry drums?
