i binge watched most of this series and i didn’t realise just how privileged i was to be able to see hours of this series back to back instead of having to wait… (the wait is so worth it though)
I feel that, I found this channel when episode 4 came out and would rather not have to wait between episodes.

A friend of mine has been trying to get me to play osrs for a while now and watching this series definitely makes me wanna give it a shot at one point. But binging the entire series last week and then realising that I just watched over 6 months of progress sure was a daunting realization. Nonetheless, thanks a lot for thoroughly explaining your every step, it helps newbies like me to follow even without any knowledge of the game, particularly when it comes to more advanced stuff like tick manipulation.
The game is really a time suck
Maybe even more than modern MMOs nowadays.
But don't let settled play style daunt you. His just one of the more hardcore players out there. Unless you plan to be one lol
@@macmac277 Oh yeah, ofc. I'm well aware that his playstyle isn't exactly the standard. But time sink isn't the lone reason either, just kinda have a hard time getting into most MMOs currently

Back when I was a teen I was so into MMOs. But after reaching 4th year of highschool I lost interest.
Can't even make myself like any of the modern MMOs now.
I do wish I had the drive I had as a teen and enjoy MMOs like that again
tbf, he's *heavily* restricting himself, there are way faster and easier ways to gain progress than he's done.
You could get to where he's gotten to in terms of progression in a fraction of the time, even if you're not doing the most efficient strategy or a god gamer.
if you're having trouble getting into runescape, that's probably a good thing. it doesn't really have much gameplay outside of grinding, which usually means sitting in one place doing literally nothing while you watch something in another window. if you want something with a kinda similar vibe i'd suggest terarria.
This series has cured my depression I get so much joy just to see TILEMAN pop up on my phone love the content

Settled always puts these awesome quirky secondary goals in his videos and it's what makes them so much better than other osrs challenge series. Like collecting cabbage in swamplethics or getting the coffin cape.

Tbh, winning a game of LMS as a tileman sounds like one of RuneScape's hardest challenges.
I mean, if you're a good PvPer and grind out 2-3K Tiles, which isn't entirely impossible you pretty much got it.
I know everyone mentions your dedication in every video but genuinely your commitment to making this work in the early episodes is still most impressive, especially given the scaling cost of tiles was removed (and rightfully so). Those first few hundred tiles make the agility or ranged grinding for tiles now look easy
you don't know how many lives you are changing for the better, settled. this is the most entertaining series i've ever seen since starting to play RS in 2006. you are incredible brother

Thank you for breaking it down. I don't do a lot of Runescape 'meta' research, and this one video told me why rune arrows and magic shortbows are so dirt cheap, why the bots for lms are so sophisticated compared to others, etc. I learn new things every video. McTile got me back into Runescape after a decade, and lead me to Swampletics, etc.
My only criticism is that I keep hoping that you'll stream some of these grinds. I know they aren't fun to do, but even if it's just 20 of us it might make it a lot more bearable and give us more Settled time.
New criticism, 'give us more Settled time' should be a federal watchlist phrase. That's the creepiest thing I've said since puberty.
