This recipe for meatballs came from an Italian grandma. She showed me how meatballs are made in Italy. I love this dish and could eat it every week. The balls are super tender and juicy. The tomato sauce tastes wonderfully fresh thanks to the fresh basil. It's the perfect meal with spaghetti.
Preparation - Italian Meatballs a la Nonna
250g minced meat (beef)
180g salsiccia
60g Parmesan
1 bun (filling)
1 egg
fresh basil
500ml tomato passata
olive oil
Salt
