Dan, the auto eject is for when it was an ambulance. When we park our rigs in the station they get plugged in to keep the batteries charged and keep power to the fridges that are sometimes equipped in ambulances to refrigerate drugs. When the vehicle is started it auto ejects the plug therefore dummy proofing it from somebody forgetting to unplug it lol

Just a fun fact because I learn so much from your videos, the Auto Eject that you said you had no idea what it is, is for a simply put trickle charger. For Fire Fighting Vehicles and Ambulances, there is a plug in that you would plug a drop cord into to keep the batteries charged and when you crank the vehicle equipped with auto eject, it pops the plug out so you can take off. Love the videos man!

hey dan in case you're wondering the auto eject should be for a shoreline, its essentially a battery tender that is hardwired in with a connector on the outside of the vehicle (usually red or yellow) that when you start it the plugin is automatically ejected out.
I love to see this build come along, it seems like the most in depth build even when have a foxbody shell in the background.
Regarding the auto eject, it is most likely for the shore line that plugs in right behind the driver side door. Essentially whenever you start the vehicle it will shoot the plug out so you don’t start going and take the cordage with you.
I have absolutely no real life friends. So watching Dan is like hanging out with a friend
It would be a smart move for those companies to send someone out for a few days to help out

Right after you mentioned the fifth gen camaro that wheel was from, I went and found the video you made when you just got the car revealing it. (Because I’m absolutely in love with camaros) In that video you mentioned that you had a camaro when you were like 16 or 17 with your friend. I think it would be totally awesome if you saw this comment and told us about that car and what year and everything it was in a video. And btw I’m so happy veduc is back this year it makes winter less awful for me.

Auto eject is a special option in ambulances. If someone is screaming with pain in the back, you say Ejecto Seato Cuz and press the button.
I can't tell you how many drunk/high people I have dealt with in the back of an ambulance that I wish I had such a switch for. **click** "see ya!"

If you get the wheel and an axle that fits it, bolt the axle through the wheel with lug nuts, then weld arms to the axle, then cover the arms with felt or something soft and keep your long arms on them

I'm sure by now you know, but the auto eject wire is probably for the dock charging. Kicks the cord when you start the boo boo bus so they don't get ripped out the ceiling

Hey Dan, just wanted to mention that the red lights have a big marked to be sold or you could donate them to a volunteer dept. I did a similar thing and sold most of the red lights (except a pair for brake lights like you did) and brought in some $$

Dan, so the connectors and all that. I had to deal with those kinds of things for years with a lot of the control panels and automation equipment. Molex connectors and pins and sockets like that can be very daunting. Your way of getting it lined out and all that is the same as a lot of others in the field of work would do with no Schematic and retrofitting it so kudos for that. Also if you are looking for the pins and sockets for that kind of stuff there is part numbers for those on them I think? If nothing else Newark electronics or Digikey or other places will have that kind of stuff.
dont know good of an idea it is but hear me out, that spare wheel ya got you could turn it into a "nuts and bolts" holder or some shit for the shop, make metal(or plastic) cups that go from the spokes(idk if that the right term) down to the base make a cap for the bottom and put a lazy susan under it and boom a spinning draw thing that can hold things

When documentation for a vehicle like this more than likely doesn't exist, you're responsible for documentation; sure, it may be long and tedious work, but it can easily save your ass down the line, luckily all the companies involved in the original vehicle have been helpful so far, but that's not always the case. It's important knowing where everything goes, either for rebuilding or repurposing, and a lot of that wiring, and that panel, could be repurposed for whatever this build becomes.
