US officials confirmed that Israel launched missile strikes against Iran today (April 19, 2024). Iranian media outlets reported that multiple explosions were heard near an Iranian military base in the central city of Isfahan. Major airports in Iran were initially closed and flights were diverted. Israel also struck Syria and Iraq. In response to Israel's latest strikes, an Iranian official said that there are "no plans for immediate retaliation against Israel." As tensions continue to escalate in West Asia, the international community is calling for de-escalation and "calmer heads to prevail". UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that "it is high time to stop the dangerous cycle of retaliation in the Middle East." Palki Sharma tells you more.

Why would anyone expect Israel to not flex and demonstrate that they attack deep into Iranian territory. Israel does not even have to admit they did it nor it’s required for Iranians to believe it happened. It was meant for the Iranian regime to know nowhere is safe in Iran. To those who think Israel shouldn’t have done it; look around. Both nations needed to show they are able and willing to attack directly. It’s what kinetic diplomacy looks like when it works. The alternative would most likely result in escalation. I would not be surprised if all parties planned it.

I am fascinated by how deep this show goes into details about all the news of the world. Last time things were like this were in my childhood when news were like 30 to 45 minutes. Now we get like 10 minutes and then they do talk shows about say the Middle East topic and all they do is talk a lot of bs but say nothing. I really like this channel so far.

I met an Indian man at the hotel where I was staying last night in Biloxi Mississippi. We had a long and interesting conversation about politics, current events and more. I opened my UA-cam app and showed him your channel and asked him if he ever watched your show and it said that he knew you and your family personally. He seemed sincere but may have been pulling my leg. He claimed to have worked for the US Department of Justice and even showed me his business card. I have no idea his name.

I remember the moment of sadness when we lost our first CDS of India General Bipin Rawat on 8th Dec 2021 a valiant officer died in a perfectly conditioned helicopter which was crashed due to inclement weather.

This overreliance of Oil and Gas has come to a point where many countries now have the ability to shift to some form of Renewable energy, at least to reduce dependence on traditional fuel sources.
Now is just a better time again move to steadily and forcefully push more installations of WIND and SOLAR and even restart some reserve, idled nuclear plants too. Really god time to shift more production to nuclear, wind, solar, and even hydro.
