I went to a boot camp/CrossFit gym. It was $125 a month...I decided it was too expensive and just started doing free UA-cam workouts....I am thinner now then I was back then....I’m here to tell y’all, you can lose weight for free!
Had a similar situation where my scale said I lost a little over 20lbs but their scales said 19.6 so I lost my deposit. Didn’t have the money to continue a membership.. Gained all (and more) of my weight back too. I’m sorry you had to go through that treatment in the end. :/ They still do the promotion, at least the ones in my area.
I’m on my first week going on second week of this challenge… it’s crazy to hear your experience. I have felt stuck in the first week and done my fair share of crying but I think they have changed their meal plan. Lots of people in our Facebook group are getting creative with the limited diet we have. I’m excited to try the challenge and finish but now am worried. 🤞🏼
I’m so sorry this was your experience, it sounds like your camp was not professional at all, I absolutely love my camp, and the meals are so different from what you have mentioned, there’s more options it sounds like, I never feel hungry, we’re eating every 2.5 hours but regardless off, you should have never made feel this way. I’m so happy you found another way to meet you goals and would love to see your new weight loss journey! 💕
@Tanya Dewitt hi NOW its a variety of food to choose from. BUT I also did that challenge at same camp at that time frame and it was still new and not a variety of option yet. I also did many challenges and essentially up my mentality of diet. Lol and I still cannot eat tilapigus ....
I had a great trainer and a great gym when I was in LA. I lost a lot of weight and was at my ideal weight for my height. But then my trainer moved away and I lost motivation. He also told me that a lot of times people gain the weight back so I tried other trainers but didn't click with anyone. I stopped going to that gym and started gaining weight back (less than ten lbs) so I started going to another gym that was closer to home and when I told the trainer there I wanted to lose like 10 lbs he said "that's it" looking at me like I had way more to lose than that. It was so harsh and I left and to this day I've never joined a gym again. I think the reason why things went so well with my first trainer was I didn't have a super restricted meal plan there were guidelines and calorie goals but I had lots of variety and a cheat day so I never felt deprived. And he and I just got along he kept things fun and did make me feel bad if I didn't hit my goals or I slipped up on the meals.

As a lifetime member of the camp here in Turlock ca , I’m sorry u had to go through all that … At my camp I was told to eat every 2hrs from when I wake up to I go to sleep .. I would wake up eat egg whites , lunch , 2hrs later drink a protein shake, then 2hrs later eat another meal then a protein shake or a snake but I ate chicken breast, salmon , carp and tilapia with brown or jasmine rice with broccoli or asparagus… I had a injury at work and the dr told me I was permanently disabled with a back injury and I’ll. Ever work again or lift anything over 10lbs but the camp changed my life and rebuilt me to wear I am back at work , I run Spartan races now and do everything the dr told me I’ll never do again …. The camp did get rid of the 6 week challenge and Lowered it’s program costs .. all camps are different cuz I’ve been to 4 different ones since Im a member I can go to anyone and there all different the trainers and staff are different but I hope u give the camp another try but at different location… I know they have a 30 day pass and when u go they punch a while on your card every time u go so if u don’t go for a week it doesn’t matter but it’s changed now it’s really different but I love it , and I get to meet new people…..

Wish somebody would come up with and plug Mexican style healthy food: Avocados, pico de gallo, beans, ranchero eggs, grilled fish with lots of fresh lime, lentil soup, grilled romaine warm salad. I would cry too if had to eat bland chicken & asparagus everyday...
You are absolutely beautiful!!!!! Inside and out. And healthy is the key healthy body and mind! Iv always struggled with my weight but in the opposite kind of way then most. Iv been wayyyy too skinny and unhealthy and I never want to look that way again! I have been struggling to gain weight for years. But if realized that as long as your healthy and happy, with a good heart then your the most beautiful. 💚 xoxo
I did a similar program right before the pandemic hit only it was 25 lbs in 6 week or like 10% (?) of your body fat - I can't remember the exact amount. But it would've been nice if the program you did had that fat loss option.
They have two options. 20lbs is if you just want to lose weight & the % one is if you are in your weight but just want to tone up & you chose which one. But they make you do the fat loss first so they can get money out of you.
So funny.....I know the trainer in that picture....LOLOLO. I did the program and lost the weight and to your point I gained it all back....It's not sustainable, but you get locked in with the camaraderie of people with the same goal, that part I liked. Not to mention the in house products that they try to sale to you (Protein Powder, etc). They still offer the 6 week program to this day. The guy who owned it died in 2020....
What about how asparagus smell coming back out of your body? It's smells like I went a year without drink n water and my body is just pulling water from my sweat, saliva etc... Now imagine how that's smells. I love asparagus but I can not eat that everyday.

That’s why you’re here.” At this point I already lost 20 pounds on my own. I just wanted gym friends. And if you needed to lose 40 pounds you had to do 2 rounds to get your money back. I left with my money in my pocket and a new fire in my ass to lose the remainder of my weight. Which I did, and I got pregnant 🤰 lol 😂 and so my journey to lose weight starts again. But I’m glad to see these people being called out. I wrote on their riverside page and I was blocked 😅
I enjoyed your video. I’ve been a long term member and have done 4 challenges because I’m a fatty who loves to eat/hates wasting food. A majority of the bad reviews are from ppl who barely missed the cutoff, it’s nice that the trainer gave you a re-weigh. I really enjoy the gym and the ppl. I enjoy my diet better on keto instead of their ftdi guide. Did tilapigus and now I’m disgusted by the sight of asparagus lol.

I went here in TX & I gained one pound after losing 6 & they bashed me for it & ridicule me I felt so unsafe I left & never came back. Then they harassed me to come back & spend more money when i told them I was never returning. This was less than a year ago. The diet was unsafe for my health & I spoke with my doctor & they blamed him as well. Worst experience of my life. & a waste of money. I even asked them before I started & they hid the diet restrictions from me. 800 calories a day & no sodium when I needed it bc of my POTS syndrome. Definitely not for everyone. I will never join a program again.
I lost the 20 lbs and literally left and went and ate tons of pancakes… I gained the 20 back plus 8😕awful!! I’ve tried to lose the 20 lbs again 5 years later and can’t make it 1 day. Everything your saying is 100% my story. I can’t eat asparagus either . The camp here still does that challenge. How did you end up losing the weight
Wow, thanks for sharing your story! Crazy how being taught those unhealthy habits undo all the progress. I was able to lose the weight over a longer period of time, just slow and steady with eating better, exercising, but not limiting myself to that extent. Definitely a better lifestyle overall!

It varies by person I'd say, like I tend to gain weight eating a lot of carbs and not exercising, but someone like you might benefit from lots of weight lifting and tons of protein! Gotta find what works for you if weight gain is the goal

that gym is overpriced. If youre paying that much it should be at a gym that teaches you a martial art! I pay about 20 bucks a month for my regular gym membership.

I knew there was gana be a problem when it's time to get the money back. That's always the way with most companies. Nothing wrong with a crash diet if it's for a short term goal like a holiday or something and not something you're intending to maintain, which is basically what their plan is. Where they went wrong is the meal plan. No one will want to eat the same every day. It should at least be a 7 day plan. Plus, not everyone can eat the same, it should have been tailored to the individual. If anyone came in where it would be unhealthy to lose 20lbs, I'd hope they'd tell them they can't take them on. Overall they sound like horrible people though. You really don't need anyone else to lose weight unless you're the type of person who is more motivated by doing with others. Defo don't need to part with 500 bucks. Exercise is very minimal part of it. Just plan your calories and macros based on your height, current weight and exercise. Then do a short hiit exercise of like 10 mins and lift weights. You'll lose weight steadily and healthily.

I did the challenge as well and it went very well. The menu definitely changed since that time. Good luck! You’ll be happy after the 6 weeks!

Same. I love my camp. I'm eating a huge variety of foods. It's motivating and the class schedules are weekends and mornings and evenings
