I've had my IP for rougly a year now, and it has really changed the way I cook. I just wanted to pop in and say that you're still one of my favorite go-to recipe makers for most dishes. Really fantastic work in not only the quality of your recipes, but production value here on YT, and a great website that's easy to use. Cheers, and I hope your 2024 is outstanding Kristen!
Just made this for dinner and can barely move, I ate enough for three. Fabulous recipe. I added a small jar of sliced pimientos just because I had them in the cupboard and it added a little zip. Thanks again for sharing your great recipes.
You have the best recipes for my IP!! I can't wait to try this one. It looks super easy and delicious!!! You can't go wrong with pasta, I love anything pasta and could eat it everyday lol but my husband would not like that hahaha I luv y'all Kristen may your health well. God bless y'all and thank you for your recipes and tips and suggestions with every recipe.🤗🥰☺️🤤😋😇🙏🙏🙏🙏
Excellent flavor and perfect cooking time. I used a half box of rigatoni (cooking for one) Italian sausage and ground chicken, and 1/2 of the all the ingredients with a big splash of red wine. Adding the grated cheese at the end thickens the sauce. Thank you.
Hi Kristen!! I tried this recipe today and it came out delicious!! My husband loved it!! My instant pot was acting strange today ! I had it on seal and although the button was up the steam was still coming out and it read ON but it never started to count down! After I saw that I decided to turn it off and release the rest of the steam! The pasta turned out fine!! Thanks for this great recipe!
Yes..I did it exactly the same! Im going to do some carrots today for my dogs so I’ll see if it happens again! It might have been a one time thing…hopefully..lol
Our favorite Italian restaurant closed recently and besides great pizza, they made this same Rigatoni dish and used sausage they made themselves. I can't wait to try it and my wife will love the spinach 😉 You should publish a cookbook!
I made this yesterday and it was so good. However, it burned. No burn notice but it was black at the bottom of the pot by the time it was done. Any idea why and how to avoid it in future? Not sure if it's because I used slightly more meat (500-600g) and 500g pasta. (We don't operate in pounds). Same liquid amount. Pasta wasn't submerged but the tomato on top helped. I would like to make it again but without the burning.
I would be sure to really scape up any browned bits off the bottom of the inner pot after browning the meat. That could cause the bottom to blacken a bit. 500 grams of pasta is also closer to 18 ounces of pasta so you would need about 1/2 cup more liquid.

Hmm, that is odd. Did you add the tomatoes to the top of the pasta? Deglaze the inner pot?

Is the pasta al dente ? I like it a bit hard, yours looks to soft.
There is still some bite to it, but it is not hard. You can reduce the cooking time by 1 minute if desired.
