Great part 1 lads. Garland is great. Love his stuff not just the movies he's made but the ones he's written for. Dredd - really need to rewatch this soon. Not seen it since release. Wasn't massively blown away with it. Felt they over used that slowmo effect. But I'd be willing to revisit it. Ex Machina - love just chucking this on if I'm after a more cerebral thriller. As Todd says. It's thrilling without there being any major set pieces. Just an expertly crafted film. Annihilation - I adore this. From cinematography, music, the mystery of the shinmer, the creature effects. Some genuinely freaky moments and imagery. Probably my favourite Garland film. It was a travesty this never got released in cinema and as I recall Garland was furious about that! Great pod again boys!
@@LightsCameraDiscussionI will for sure. I'll need to swerve it until I've seen Men and Civil War. Never actually fancied Men. Thought it looked a wee bit messy. Civil War looks ace though so def be giving that a bash. I'll make it my homework for the weekend 😂
