Check out The Path Unwinding. Songs: "Trials Of A Misguided Soul" Starts off powerful and clean with brutal "djent" esque like tones in parts. Think killswitch engage if they were Djent. OR "Pale Blue Dot" which shows just how progressive and versatile their music writing is. From brutal deep tones to more of those powerful cleans and intuitive lyrics and Some nice little surprises in there too. I just doscovered them and BRUUUUH...... I'm not normally this confident but you'll thank me later.
after the last 2 records i was kinda disappointed, i thought they chose their direction for good, but thanks for showing me this, seems like they're going back to the slightly darker sound they used to have, and i love it!
