Had server lag when boating and we passed a sea snake (forget name rn) and the lagg kicked me out of the boat and I had to face tank the snake while my teammate turned around XD also if you are mounted onto the boat like holding the sail or steering you won't lagg you out of a boat.
I disagree with tip #33. If you see the biome he mentioned, just go explore and build some nice house since there's absolutely no way a deadly mob would spawn in such a beautiful biome. thoughts?
When building, you don't need to sit to snap below an object, press the interact button ( "E" on PC ) to have a different snap point. some building material may have manyy different snap point.
Thats why I hate youtubers changing their video titles just to be found easier. The snapping mechanic was changed FIVE months after he uploaded his video, yet it contains absolute useless tips. And yet it's tips "for 2024".
3: damage is split, but not as half but 0,75 on 2, 0,6 on 3 and 0.5 on more not including 2-handed hammers. btw one swing use 1 durability no matter how much targets got hit
You can use a log to break trees above your ax level. Just chop down a tree and keep rolling that log into the tree you want. Great way to get early dmg boost
I found this out on my own by accident haha! You can break the "too hard" trees earlier than you're supposed to be able to. This landed me furniture that I'd not be able to get sooner than later.
Yeah, good tip - also rolling a log up a slope then releasing gives it more momentum breaking target trees faster. Also, use a Fine Wood tree as your "breaker" log, they last longer. Good also for killing pesky creatures who attack while you're logging.

I saw it was on gamepass and immediately got some of my friends to install it with me, so far we went and killed Eikthyr within our second day of playing on the world
Good stuff. small tip re the burial stones: Use stagbreaker to wallop the ground and look for white damage numbers to pop from the ground, this will be a buried chest and the AOE will break it. This saves you having to dig the entire area looking for the chest.
Just discovered valheim and your channel subsequently. Hope the influx of new players helps your channel to grow, very entertaining. Looking forward to the next one.
Best tip, make a shield and flint Spear and upgrade them as much as possible. Also when using the bow (you should always have one) make sure to craft wood arrows. They one shot animals and are nice when you want range, just watch for the bad aiming.
I think the best possible use for Wood Arrows is for offing Birds for their Feathers without costing Feathers in the process, thus making Feather Hunting more efficient.

We share Genetics with Mountain Goats!!? That is so disappointing... all this time, I thought my Viking was doin that by sharing Genetics with a Skyrim Nord Dragonborn... :( A tip not seen here that I think can also be pretty darn useful: Weak Enemies can be beaten down and kicked around for 0 Weapon Durability usage, which is useful for conserving Weapon Durability when exploring earlier areas containing both weak stupid enemies like Necks and enemies worth taking more seriously like Greydwarf Brutes at the same time... Ya might be surprised how often ya can encounter Shores that look like they'd be 100% Black Forest but can actually have Black Forest lookin shore areas actually counting as Meadows Biome...
I disagree with 3 just for the fact it saves you durability. And once you've reached the bronze age. It is useful to save durability when farming resources
Since im always be a wood harvester(just love the domino effect) in my friends only server... I lost counts of how many times that bloody logs murdered me.
The plains used to scare me a lot. my tip for the plains is to learn how to perfect block. The more health you have, the more damage you can block. Put faith in your sheild but also raise your skill before going in. I would say perfect blocking a troll will get you a good idea of how powerful the enimes in the plains are. The key is confidence in what you can do.
I checked out this video because Valheim is currently 50% off on Steam and it's been on my Wishlist. 7-28-24 Watching this video, I'm impressed with the devs. There seems to be a lot of things designed to be nice to the player, such as the raft stopping, being able to mark your map, flattening terrain to build your base and getting full resources back among other things that other games don't do and it just makes it frustrating.
about #3, hitting two enemies (or trees) for 66% damage each IS more efficient. the overall damage output is higher. whats faster, two individual trees at 6 hits each (so, 12 hits) or two trees at a time, at 8-10 hits total?
In burial tombs and things with tight doors grab the big shield and have a couple of friends with the stag breaker behind you (friendly fire off) and the splash damage will reach around the shield lol
Same all 4 of my friends and i are on the s and no crashs yet the only thinb is twice in like 39 hours our aoe pick up range broke and i as host had to save and restart runs very well.
tip 3 is wrong, if you do 9 damage and hit 3 trunks you'll have 3 damage on each AND MINUS 2 SWINGS so it's way quicker than normal cutting, damage doesn't change but the times you have to swing and spend stamina does! (great video I'm going through...Se sei italiano salutoni ahahahah!)

You dont even need to start a new seed unless you already explored your entire world. If you haven't discovered the whole map on your current seed, mistlands will generate just fine.
Ya that sunny beautiful looking biome was a trap the first time I played. Spent like 2 hours just tryna get my loot back cause I kept dying before I could get back to my teleporter 😂
Tip: 46 is such a time saver I know it's not intended but i transfer all my ore to another world and then teleport back and then switch again and collect all my ore again.. I know it's basically cheating but im not interested to sail about 70%of my time again and again..

You'll need copper. So that means killing the deer boss and making the antler pickaxe. Or using a troll(better w/log) to smash the copper veins in the black forest.
Great video, but regarding Tip 47, you say that we can dig in the ground for chests, but how does one get an pickaxe? I know that it is locked behind beating the first boss but back then my beginner friends were afraid to deal with bosses before leveling up to max gear and thus none had unlocked the pickaxe ... they were afraid that summoning bosses alters the world and unlocks much harder enemy events. Also they thought bosses were endgame material like in other games ... Maybe it would make sense in an beginner or separate video to also point out that bosses exist and that it is fine to try them once you get the requirements? Maybe go a little in detail of the general mechanics and that bosses will not follow you until the end of the world (usually)
When in the menu where you can select what you wanna build, walls and floors and so, theres the hammer icon top left. Select that and and youre good to go.

over 600 hours in game, Beat the game several times vanilla (including The Queen) (playing modded now) hit me up for assistance. It is also frowned upon joining someone elses game with full inventory, always ask the server owner if its ok to join if your farther ahead. Have some honor within the viking world.

The first deer boss is a pushover. You can deal with it easy qith maxed flint axr and wooden shield.
