My friend hadn't cleaned her very small pantry in 5 years so it was time to do a little decluttering and organizing. See what we did with 20 dollars and 2 hours of time.

Decluttering a small pantry and setting it up for organization was a quick job between the two of us. We started by taking everything out of her free-standing pantry. Franke lives in a 350 sq ft apartment so storage space is limited. We threw away everything that had expired and married bottles together. We also threw away boxes and plastic bags that were no longer needed as well as an old broken blender. After decluttering broken and unneeded items we decided to run to Marshalls and buy a few containers. We organized like objects together and added a shelf riser for her spice organization so everything fit onto one shelf. Decluttering and organizing a pantry with a friend makes the entire process way easier and a lot more fun!! - Навчання та стиль

I think that's your signature when it comes to decluttering! You consider what things should be on display to enhance the 🌟 joy 🌟. I love it. It really adds something I hadn't considered much before. I used to only consider decor for display instead of choosing functional items that are also beautiful. It really appeals to me because of how much I value function and ease of access. ❤

Love this. Its much cleaner and more organized than before. I must say having a friend, even their presence in your house does spur one to start off the cleaning/decluttering process. And that spice step-like shelf is absolutely genius for a small cabinet!

for my 3 shelf pantry I did one shelf at a time, took stuff off, towelled off the dirt (dish soap and little moisture), put boxes on the lowest shelf, fabric and cardboard containers of tiny stuff on the top shelf, and bags on the middle shelf.
I was especially careful to dry off the shelf for boxed pasta, because cardboard and moisture aint great.
also theres this thing that can eat a hole into plastic or cardboard and eats wheat products, so I try not to cross containminate towels, and am careful with old wheat, not move it around too much so it doesnt distribute wheat eating microorganisms.
cant get them out of the wheat, but they clear off with dust easy enough.

Well done 😊 It makes such a difference, to have the beautiful red mixer out on display, which fits to the other red items. And the plant looks much better on the pantry. I am sure your friend is really happy about her kitchen upgrade... and the yellow pantry door I would paint with black chalkboard paint (inexpensive), I did that on the side of my fridge, looks cozy and is practical for shopping lists, things to remember and positive affirmations

I think people can underestimate the power that is decluttering - I've been so pleasantly surprised many times how positively purging & organizing truly affects my mental health! Only addition I might make would be one or two small scale lazy susan's - I noticed they had some at that Marshals - might be helpful in the pantry? Anyway, thanks for sharing! Something tells me Franky may be calling you to come over & do some other spaces in her home.......

I saw you struggling to find a place for the paper towels, not sure where they ended up but I think she could fit a dowel rod underneath the shelf under the window to hold them. Could then also use S hooks to hold things like wash cloths.
oh ive never seen that but love the idea!! will look that up:)
she ended up putting it with her cleaning supplies under the sink but it is one of those things that will probably be taken out daily...like the idea of a towel rod!!

That is a cute pantry. The whole kitchen looks a lot better, especially with more light coming in. I worry for your friend if there is a food shortage. Maybe she has more food in other cupboards. I bet she was so happy to get your help. Plus she would have probably kept more if you weren't there to urge her on.

I would put the kitchen aid in the pantry. It's for me to massive. Don't like it. To leave a part on the shelf empty would look better as the window is above too.

Dont think the spices shelter is practically. You can't reach nothing on the back w/o taking everything out first.
we wanted a turntable but none would fit. that was the best solution for the space and time crunch. she put her most used spices on front shelf and back shelf was still pretty accessible.
