***** He needs to make some more!!! Of course for the bands that actually matter. I'm giving into my better judgement right now listening to some run-of-the-mill "djent" from ItDjentsTV. I hate calling it that though. It's less music and more "look how I can tune lower and lower." That's why Periphery will never cease to amaze me, because, although they may have helped pioneer this bullshit, all the glory to them (and Tesseract who alike to them has been in the scene since 2005) for sticking with what's good. They do it for the music. That is evident. I'm done listening to this crap, at least Oceill wasn't bad, they were actually really music-y.
Lucas Jenkins Yes, he really should! I love Periphery and TesseracT. It sucks that Ashe is gone, but at the same time I'm glad Dan is back, being a big fan of both One and Altered State. They're both incredible vocalists.
Altered State was way...more. Like, it was just more than what One ever was, as good as One was. It just seemed like all of One was the same song. The funniest part of this is that I found Altered State repetitive at FIRST. I didn't know that they were SUPPOSED to sound similar to follow the "Of Energy" / "OF Matter" / "Of Reality" / "Of Mind" concept.
I've been listening to a few djent bands and to be honest... The lyrics seem to just be using kinda "fantastic and mystical" terms to make them sound intelligent, when there doesn't seem to be much meaning. Can someone show me a djent band with smoother vocals, less screaming, and one who doesn't try as hard?
Jesus The Stoner well, i would think most people wouldn't JUST look at the following word, i'd imagine they'd look at both,putting words like "fucking" in front of other words is an.....hm....for examply if i was really psyched about something someone just did and wanted to express just how cool it was i would say something along the lines of "oh,shit dude!!! that was fucking cool!!" see,so,when used like that it's sort of am emphasizer. lol.

I've always felt that each Tesseract album was like one giant song. I prefer One over Altered State but all the albums are something special.
