Hey Drew! Some tips to the game for ya: Aiming with a scope over a hostile target will increase damage and have instant bullet travel time. The Doctor can repair your armour. You can press H in the safezone to teleport to any important characters in the safezone. Lootable spots will disappear like enemies with your fog of war, making identifying looting spots easier instead of mistaking it to be background stuff. Hope this helps! Please post more of Zero Sievert!
The instant bullet travel time only applies to long scopes btw
@@21joebloe yep!
Follow the crows. That's all you got to do for looting.
@@ItIsYouAreNotYour oh yeah do that a lot of the times. the crows tell a big story lol
You can also repair your own armor either by looting or crafting your own repair kits.
I love that indie devs like playing with different art styles.
Do you think they like it or it’s just a cheaper/easier medium for a small team to work in.
@@Hanging_Brain Both. They like it but the reality is you’re not making a 3D high quality Stalker game with animations and all.
Also people can’t complain that it has bad graphics if it’s a style that is pixelated
1 name:
Project Zomboid
It’s an older game with quite the development history
but it’s pretty fun. They’re still working on it which is amazing
@@Sparky-js5xz Project Zomboid is a real-time and arguably inferior version of the turn-based Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead
this game has a surprisingly steep learning curve for those who haven't played stalker. I for one was delighted to play this game and dumped hours upon hours into it even when it was in open testing. very fun. very in depth.
that's because it's a tarkov inspired game not stalker....
For those who have played Tarkov, no game even comes close when it comes to ‘learning curve’ lol
@@FathersOfDeception tarkov and stalker as the game also uses anomalies as environement hazard
@@FathersOfDeceptioneven if that were the case, take a wild guess what inspired tarkov
- Green dudes with the orange visor are Green Army: Friendly until shot at.
- 3 guys without headgear at a cabin: Friendly until shot at.
- Hazmat dudes near Anomalies: friendly until shot at.
All three of these groups are found in the first map.
all i read was potential hostiles, which is all i need to know
@@sebastianromero2583 nah I keep them alive, makes a good distraction when retreating. Fight amongst yourselves!
I love that Stalker-like is its own sub-genre
Where would we be today without Roadside Picnic?
You mean without GSC Game World?
@@wisewizard9552 Nope. Roadside Picnic. The novel. It lies at the very root of all of these.
@@JohnPeacekeeper the movie stalker is good as well, although it'll probably appeal more if you like foreign films and art :) definitely not action but a lot of interesting dialogue and ambiance (the movie as well is based on roadside picnic)
While it’s cool and all, the whole “anomaly” thing just isn’t for me. I like the whole Nuclear hellscape zone, mutants, fighting factions, etc. I just don’t like weird dangerous vortexes scattered around.
@@wisewizard9552 - Credit where credit is due, GSC definitely made their world come alive in a fantastic way and exported the Roadside Picnic vibes to a wider audience. Soviet Sci-Fi just had an incredible way of juxtaposing the mundane and the monolithic.
Mister Drewksi,
Your ability to do these playthroughs, learning and teaching about games, all while talking about your own experiences and things in life is very enjoying to watch.
I'm definitely going to check this game out, please discover more games!
Yes, I'm so happy that you're finally playing this game
*you're
I remember playing this back in November when it came out on steam, because I missed the kickstarter. Hella addicting and fun, would recommend.
I've been playing this game and absolutely love it, can't wait for more features to be added, also Mosin best starting gun, fight me
Can't fight the truth, can take down anything with ~2 shots
SKS best starting weapon, more versatile, can kill most things in 3 shots in early game
Nosin*
@@st0nedpenguin no?😂
Can you play with a controller too?
So glad you are doing this game and highlighting the little details that make it great. I love that they don't hold your hand too much and let you discover little organic details along the way. If you can complete the train conductor quest, do it, because the new maps unlock new, interesting gameplay that just doesn't occur in Forest. I especially recommend the mall, which is challenging.
Girl: "I love it when a guy puts his Nozin Makant"
Man, the attention to detail in this one is crazy! All these cute little animations look quite impressive. These gunfights, despite the pixel aesthetic, also look really intense. Cool game for sure. 🤩
omg I used to have that same hunting game, you just unlocked one of my core memories haha
What was it called??
@@riverfeltner1511 this^
@@riverfeltner1511 it's big buck hunter TV game I think
Been waiting for you to play this! Been hooked on it for a while now. Nice to see a big creator giving it attention. Would love to see you go to other maps, especially mall/interchange
4:10 had the same game, loved playing it. can still hear the "look out! here comes a bear!"
buckmaster's hunting 2
nailed it!
Absolutely love Zero: Sievert and it’s devs. This game has been coming along nicely and I can’t wait for more!
One thing I wanted to let you know is that your loot multiplier, is a new feature, (looks like it’s set to 2x on your end) spawns two items on top of each other, in a stack. This isn’t a problem for most items but can be detrimental to your weight capacity and shopkeepers. Particularly because of weapons weight and stores prices being doubled.
Be sure to split stacks by holding shift and dragging. And you can rotate items with R. There’s a 2 minute mini-tutorial in the settings that really helps early game! Happy hunting!
This looks super fun! I'm definitely going to get this when my computer gets here!
These guys you shoot at 35:30 are not enemy and you WILL lose reputation with them if you keep killing them
Drew: "Nozin Makant"
Me: "Nose in your what!?"
This game is deceptively complex and unexpectedly good. Well worth a play.
New drinking game, take a shot every time Drew says Nozin Makant. RIP Liver
"Nose in my....." flew over Drewski's head higher than the camera in this game lol
Always a good vid when you find something in a game that resonates with you, can really hear the enjoyment in your voice
Hello Operator Cat, I would just like too confirm what Drewski said at 24:00 is indeed true, we only come into existence when Drew hits upload. Now demand food and ear scritches.
Been looking for this comment aswell as the nosin MaKant
OMG I also had that plug and play hunting game growing up! It’s wild the amount of stuff you could actually do in those simple games. Loads of fun!
By the nine I have been looking for a game like this for ages, thank you for making a video on this!
Is that a potato face game reference
@@wolreb9331 Elder scrolls, somewhat of a popular phrase in the community
@@ThomasTheBullet yeah I'm aware I was just directly referring towards oblivion since it's not that common a phrase in skyrim (hence potato face game)
This game is so much fun to sink time into, And its uber challenging at times. Devs are always giving updates! Cannot wait to see where this game goes! Glad to see you play the game!
I got this game not expecting much and it turned out to be such a fun time. There is so much to do, tons of stuff to grind for and tasks to last for a long time and they're not all terrible fetch quests. Highly recommend this game I just really wish it had coop
Been loving this game, super cool to see you giving it a shot!
I randomly saw this game on youtube shorts....it's really fun. I really like playing it
As someone from Montana, I can confirm, we all use the iconic Nozin Makant.
You always find some great low key games love the channel thanks for the video if not i'd never knew about this game lol.
That old hunting game you mentioned was called Play TV Hunting 3 and I used to play it all the time as a kid!
The look reminds me of Cannon Fodder, to be honest. (Gotta be fairly old to remember that one.)
omg deja vu. Watched your "A Night in the Zone" with ease and you literally said the exact same when roaming with nightvision about moonlit nights :D
awesome game. awesome games in general!!!
For those wondering why it's not multiplayer yet (If the devs plan on adding it), is 'cause this game was made in GameMaker. GameMaker, in the game dev industry, isn't really known for it's ability to be as advanced as other engines, such as Unity, Unreal, or even Godot. Within the past year, GameMaker just recently got the ability to implement multiplayer, although as far as I'm aware, it's still rather difficult, and I'm not sure if there's region hosts yet.
An example of how much less advanced GameMaker is - You have to program your own physics, your own lighting system, you have to program your own particles, and so on, so props to the dev for being able to make ZERO Sievert in GameMaker.
Love seeing more indie titles on the channel, especially ones as cool as this. I only found it recently, but I feel like you'd really enjoy Carrier Command 2 on Steam. I feel like a 16 player co-op aircraft carrier fleet RTS game would really be up your alley
Dude, I LOVE this game! My favorite games all in one, would love to see you playthrough this like you do with STALKER.
coming back to this video, yeah this game rules, I’m like industrial area into the game and yet I realized I can set up rooms
4:03 immediately thought of that one spiderman game that had the gloves with sensors, was so fun when I was a kid but dont remember what it was called
Imagine being a guard on duty.. shooting at a man in the dark whos running through trees in pitch black.. and all youre hearing is "wooo, woooow, yeaaa, woooo" as hes returning fire xD
Games are either competitive multiplayer, or intense co-op like in GTFO, but chill co-op campaigns are so rare. That's what I and I feel a lot of people would also like, this seems to be a nice game to play with friends. But it's SP.
I hope they make some co-op version of this.
As an invisible person, I can confirm I didn't exist until Drewski hit upload on this video.
Dude you made me flash back waaay into my childhood with that old hunting game footage. I absolutely loved that game man
Almost like Cattails the game. :-D Awesome stuff. There is even that chocolate with babushka on the cover.
21:13 „I don’t know what happens when you die. I haven’t died yet.” - heh, a true wisdom (with strong belief in life after death) ;-)
"That's so cool! I'm so blind!"
Not a sentence I expect to hear. XD
I’d love to see more of this game!! Really enjoyed watching it.
I'm pretty certain the aiming number going down with the scope is because it works like world of tanks does; the lower the number, the smaller the potential bullet spread, but then again it's been 2 months since you uploaded this so you may already know that. anyway, great video; I love the way this game plays
fun fact if you alt+f4 when you die but before you hit the death screen you respawn back in the bunker with all the loot from your excursion
each time drewski says 'mozin makant',
everyone drinks
34:55 those pixels really do be hittin different
nosin makant
bro could make a whole series of it like Plaga, now he's having 20k progress every minute and we dont even notice when😭😭
I love this game so much!
They update it quite often and I put at least 40 hours into the game before running out of things to do.
They also recently added daily quest and the hardcore mode which is really fun
Druksi! I'm so glad to see you make a stop into the Zone! glad you had a good time Hunter! Yea CABO had to change the names of tall the guns due to fear of lawsuits. It creates some real funny names like the new 7.62X25 PP Kokarev... nice. Again loved the video Druski!
I NEED to see more Zero Sievert content from EFT streamers, I'm really loving pixel art Tarkov!
as a loot gremlin in a zomboid server, I'll be enjoying this game for a long time
I used to have that hunting game you were talking about! I remember the rifle controller you had to plug in. I also remember not knowing what half the stuff does at the little inventory bar and the little animation of the bear charging at the player and that scared the hell out of me as a kid.
I love games like this because they inspire me
In not too good in art but when I see games like this it reminds me some fun games don't need too much details to work and this right here is so beautiful
Glad to see you playing this game drewski. It's a really good game and hope to see the devs get more and more love for it. Def an interesting take on the genre. The pixel graphics are a really nice touch also.
The crows will land where there's a body, it's to help you find loot you missed!
31:08 haha they was dancing!
before i even what you video i just wanted to say i'm so exited to see u play Zero Sievert i've been playing since before it was on steam and i love it its come a loooong way from its early stages but its a great game haha my steam play hours dont really show how much time i've spent rockin though the bush trying not to get gored by a boar or have my gun jam while being attacked by a pack of wolves haha .. this game definitely deserves the spotlight your channel will shine on it.. so before i even watch, 1 your awesome and 2 keep being awesome mate
The hunting game you were talking about early in the video is hunting 3d. It was my very first video game I ever played when I was 6. At 20yo I still have the game
Great! The Drewski got me into another game that will consume my life. 400 hours in GAMMA, now this.
Interesting how I watch this video then instantly see it recommended to me on steam lol.
YESS, you finally covered it!
Glad you're checking out this game, it's fantastic and I'm eagerly awaiting more content.
Even zero seviert. Man is covering every my favourite game XD. Im so.glad he gives it some spotlight.
That hunting game brought back great memories. An unexpected gem
i died watching them eat the prem chocolate. That quest took forever to find them for the quest lol.
Bro I been for you to play this game I been knowing about it for a while and been thinking “I wonder if drewski will find this game and make a video about this game ever”
Pro tip any new game that you play the first screen you look at is the hot key/key bind in the settings. Fun watching you play this game for the first time.
10:22 yeah what you trying to say there is that the bunker is like the one at photon 2 which is bandit sencond base , it do remind me of it even before you said anything about it
The single player pixel art Tarkov we never knew we desperately needed.
he dare said the words "single player tarkov" at 8:50 , the tarkov dev team has no other choice but to sue drewski now
Holy shit! That deer hunting game unlocked a core memory from my childhood 😂
Im so lad to see you cover this, been playing it a while and it seemed perfect for you
Need more of this. Very interesting and love your reactions to the surprises. Very hilarious
Yoooooooo, it looks like they put those carrion birds in the game so you don't lose track of the bodies you dropped and so you can find leftovers from 3rd party engagements. That's smart.
My fiancé wants me to play this “because it looks like Stardew Valley”
I forgot about that hunting game. Drew once again unlocking childhood memories
I'm glad that you uploaded this video. Existing is better that being invisible and non existing.
you should really talk to people to get quest. also the quest for igor is a quest you do once and it give you a nice surprise if you complete it, you can take as much time as you want to complete it. weapon jam when low on durability, keep them in good condition and they wont jam
This game seems difficult. I won't be able to get ten feet without someone sticking their Nozin Makant.
A cool bit of immersion was that I took a deep breath when you opened your inventory, because my brain instantly said ‘that’s heavy’
One of my favorite games recently love the art style and gameplay
"I've got a Nosin Makant." That's what she said.
Straight onto my Wishlist. See what happens during the steam summer sale.
Coop MP in the future would be cool.
Wow didn’t think you would play this a pleasant surprise
Got zero sievert the day it came out and it's so good. Btw if you haven't go to industrial there's some nice guns that one shot a lot of npc. Would love to see more vids of zero sievert
Whenever I hear the crows start up I get the urge to run lol
Wow just access a core memory with that old school hunting game thanks drewski
This looks like a perfect handheld switch game.
I need this on my switch when I’m bored af at work.
This game is instantly one of my favorites, I am very much looking forward for the development of this game.
- Bond, James Bond.
- Nozin, Nozin Makant.
I played that little plug in hunting game forever man got it for Christmas one year
32:45 also shoots a bird out of the sky
I remember seeing this somewhere with an ETA. Forgot about it until now, glad to see it released
