The amount of pure talent in the entire soundtrack is absolutely unreal, but from The Rebel Path and Scavenger Hunt to *this*, you really did an amazing job building the world of CP2077 and simultaneously filling our brains with detuned synth riffs for years to come. What a beautiful soundtrack!! And thank you for telling us that it was a LEPLoop lol. This is one of those tracks that me and my synth DIY friends have definitely argued over, whether it was a semi-modular played live or something sequenced voice like a Benjolin, but when it comes to reading about how this soundtrack was made its always fun to see the immensely strong creative process. By far my favorite combat track. Just amps you up so hard. Love it to death, the gritty synth and high tone chirps contrasting with that dark and nasty synth, pure perfection.
that kind of sound ... it's just fucking awesome. So much work done ... I hope CDPR will be able to get out of this situation because the musical component just breaks the brain. Thank you so much for being with us
I've been spending most time in Heywood during my every playthrough of the game and been hurting Valentino-gangmembers for two years now, just to hear/enjoy this theme music LOL Thanks for the UA-cam-upload! Hopefully I can someday listen to this on my Spotify while roaming or hurting other gangs in Night City ghehehe
wanted to ask about making the music process, usually, u play the game parts for which u want to create music or CPDR just asks to make music for certain situations?. Because the relevance of CDPR music is something beyond.
Hey! So CDPR is unique in the fact that we do have an in-house music team. The way it usually works is - we either play the game (which at the time is in a veeeery rough shape) or we watch playthroughs recorded for us by our QAs. While doing that we „spot” the game which basically means we decided what piece of music plays at a particular moment, what kind of interactivity we need, how long the loops need to be etc. After that we write cues or adapt existing ones. We then put them into Wwise and then we play the fragment we were to look for errors and check if the thing we wrote feels appropriate. Multiplay that by hundreds of cues and that’s our process in a nutshell. Stay safe!
@@p.t.adamczyk1310 you guys have one of the best sound teams ever. The game is doing well but it's still unfinished and a bit buggy. I can't wait for you to properly finish it because shooting gangs and hearing your sick music in the background feels awesome. I mean, I put it here ;) so it's kinda released, plus it's in the game. The problem with soundtrack albums is that all composers should have more or less equal amount of "disk space" so some cues get left behind.
