You kindly appreciated my description of Japanese marriage, so I thought I’d look at your channel, and have now subscribed. I have used a percolator since childhood. The video your channel links to recommends adding a filter… I was just wondering about that because I gather that percolator coffee is highest in cholesterol, but I was afraid it might spoil the flavour, but now I’ll try it. Thanks.
You might enjoy the 'Shorts' on my UA-cam channel, Mike, where I've got a vintage Sona J 123 going on a similarly vintage Taymar Trident 593 camping stove I found in the orchard of my former address while clearing up to move house, fortunately also finding a butane cylinder with some gas in it, even though it was a bit rusty round the outside. Sadly, I had to scrap the stove, but it had a glorious, if brief 'last hurrah' for a few days.
You did exactly what you said you were going to do, I respect that.
I love the old Coleman stoves. Watching this makes me feel like lighting up my favorite one this afternoon.

@@ElSasser2007 thank you!
@@ElSasser2007 I did not know that percolator coffee was high in cholesterol. Thanks for that info!
@@explorermike19Yes, coffee itself is high in cholesterol, but paper filters can remove a lot of it.
@@ElSasser2007 that is fascinating! I did not know these things about coffee or paper filters. Thank you. This is useful information.

I'll check it out, Christopher. Thanks!
