Hi Lori - thank you! You packed so much excellent instruction in that short 5 min! I am definitely going to look for more sources of your terrific teaching. Have a blessed day!
I learned so much in this 5 minute video: colour mixing, use of neutral green and how a minimum of lines is all it takes to create a quick sketch. Lori Sokoluk is an excellent teacher - I've taken 2 acrylic courses from her and wish I still lived in Vancouver so I could continue to work with her. Thanks Opus for your great resources like this.
That was very interesting. I love how you used marks and indications. And how you didn't add much detail or painting to the building. Great for beginners!
What brand is this magic Neutral Tint! I've been mixing my own tint with a blue+orange but this looks like a very convenient option. Thanks for the demo!
Hi, this comment seems to be 6 months old but fyi this video is on opusartsupplies youtube channel, so I wouldn't be surprised if the neutral tint was opus brand. Hope I helped.
Thanks for your question Arlu - Lori was using a Staedtler Lumocolor Permanent Marker for her initial sketch. For a full list of the products she uses, visit: opusartsupplies.com/urbansketching Hope this helps!
You vision was elegantly realized and methodically attained ..thank you

I appreciated your restraint in applying colour. Very often in urban sketching less is more!
