That Ronco Rotisserie Oven infomercial used to play all the time on the weekends when I was in High School. I still hear the "Set it and forget it" in my head sometimes.
I own a magic bullet and I use it regularly for grinding coffee beans for fresh coffee. I also use it to make my teenage daughters healthy smoothies in the morning
I use mine for my breakfast protein shake almost daily. I had a knock off first lasted a year or so. Bought a new MagicBullet and that was about 10 years ago. Still going strong.
I've had a Magic Bullet for about 10 years, and I use it almost every day for fruit smoothies: banana, fresh fruit, frozen fruit and skim milk. Delicious, low cal and you can get variety by changing the fresh and/or frozen fruit you use. BTW: Using frozen fruit means you don't need to use ice cubes, and the blade last longer.
look for reviews about the items before you buy them some are not great as they show like pocket hose easily wear & tear a hole in itsel and cant be fixed
I just used flex tape to fix leaks on an air mattress. It was so sticky that I could barely get the scissors off of it after cutting it. But it worked like a charm and stopped those leaks dead.
It works as advertised, too. I have an outdoor steel trash can that I store sunflower seeds in to feed the birds during winter, and the lid had a bunch of pinholes from rusting. I covered the holes with Flex Tape, and it's watertight again.
My mom has had a George Foreman Grill for what feels like forever, she absolutely loves that thing. Fun fact, bacon tastes really good grilled and when we don't want to bother with the outdoor grill we just use the George Foreman, works great! I had one of those fun looms too, I actually still have it. Haven't used it in years though but don't want to get rid of it 😅Loved that thing!
"It even comes with a built-in strainer so you don't have to go rummaging around like a damn fool trying to find one." I think I just got called out by a WatchMojo video...
It wasn't on the list for some reason but they showed it in the beginning - I absolutely love my TurboTwist for my hair when it's wet! It's just super easy to use and so convenient, plus it just works so well. Sometimes you get out of the shower and just don't feel like dealing with your hair, so you can just wrap it up and worry about it later. Plus, it really does stay in place perfectly!
Yup. We have 3 in the house. I don't use it now that my hair is shorter again, but man, shoulder length and beyond it was amazing, and I will use it again when my hair grows out again (I donated 18" of hair a few months ago).
Wait, they actually work. I always think of if a person who lift something too heavy and snap both their forearms! So then they can't do anything for weeks/months, maybe even years!
They work. I have the shoulder harness accessory which can be awesome for getting around tight corners because for something like a mattress you can step off to the side. Biggest problem is no one believes they work until they try them.
@@davidbeaulieu4815 they just wear out. I'm not even an all over the bed sleeper. Maybe bad seals, but I had no success finding where the leak was to use an air mattress repair kit.
Me, my cousins, sister and mom all loved FunLoom to the point where we had well over 2k rubber bands and we all had the loop things. we even learned how to make different designs and how to make a bracelet without anything but a clip, some rubber bands, and our bare hands. i miss the old days
Same! I still know how to make them on my hand bc I did it so much but I’ve totally forgotten how to do it on the loom like in the video. I used to use just two of the prongs on the loom and weave it like the finger method that way I could have several projects going at once. I also used to take them apart and re-weave them at school or work when I was bored lmao. I also had a sectioned case for each color rubber band. I miss those times. Life was so simple.
Reason why never to buy a pocket hose: it's made of substandard materials and will easily wear & tear a hole in itself over the course of a single summer. No one I know has had one last even one year. Yeah it works as advertised, but you can buy a standard hose once and have it last 20 to 50 times longer and save your money. What's more, you can patch a standard hose if it springs a leak to extend its life even further, but once a pocket hose starts leaking all you can do is throw it away.
The good thing is that it inspired a bunch of imitators who sell a far more superior product. I keep both my expandable hoses out all summer and they are now going into their fourth season.
@@sablejase I believe it. I knew 4 people who bought them & they all leaked in the first year & they had to throw them away. Taught me to never buy one.
For me, Flex Tape and Foreman Grill are such commercial success. It's simple, with clear function, and the most important part, it's something that everyone needs/wants.
I remember so many of these products! I have one ShamWow left and I still adore my Magic Bullet and Magic Mesh 😍 I was obsessed with the Magic Bullet infomercial as a kid, I rewatched it so often I knew it by heart 😆💜 Another great product from TV was those yellow anti-glare glasses you could wear with or without your own glasses; they were to help with the glare from oncoming headlights on the road at night. My mom still uses those!
I loved my George Foreman grill when I had one. I am visually impaired, so having an easy way to grill up burgers or small things like that was important to me and still is.
The pocket hose will break down in sunlight during the day and split open. I have had several in the past. In my front yard the spigot where the hose attaches is under an overhang of the house, so it gets very little sun on it. The hose I use in the front is now on its 4th year. The backyard is exposed to the sun all day and I have lost 3 of those pocket hoses to splitting and breaking. Honestly, the standard garden hose works the best and lasts the longest.
My answer before watching the video: I have a Purple mattress, and the thing is fkn AMAZING! Best sleep ever since I started sleeping on it. Loved it so much, I bought company stock!
The clapper was a tv item. I had one for my upstairs bedroom. It was useful when in bed. But what I also found that when entering a room I was often carrying something and unable to clap. That resulted in slappy body parts which worked just often enough to keep trying. But not so often to be a good solution. a friend had a similar product that had a plastic "remote" that you would squeeze and it would whistle, activating the lights, or whatever what plugged in. But you had to have the "remote" which wasn't always handy.
Use it in the shower after you’ve washed your hair and body. By then the calluses will be softened and easier to remove. Then you can rinse it down the drain in the shower.
I love my chillow especially for migraines my pedipetfect works to keep my feet Crack free but my favorite is Oxyclean hands down I've been using it for 20 years
My pocket hose failed the first time I used it. The nozzle coupler came off the hose, and it started flailing around. The Forearm forklift was super helpful though.
Tap lights are part of our “hurricane box” supplies. We had a version of Slap Chop before Slap Chop was marketed. It does work but is a pain to properly clean. I had a George Foreman grill. Used it for burgers and catfish. Downside is the burger and fish leftovers were like rubber. We have a different company’s version of the Ped Egg Power. It does smooth out hardened calluses. We use it in the shower. The Sticky Buddy works but it doesn’t rinse clean as easy as advertised.
Instead of getting a pedegg, go to the hardware store. Go to where they have the drywall accessories. Trust me on this. Get yourself some med. or fine DRYWALL SCREEN. Before you get in the shower cut one into 8 squares. At the end of your shower take one of those squares and rub it over your callouses and heals. Do this every shower till they are smooth then once a week. You will never worry about dry cracking calloused feet.
Another product similar to the pasta boat is the rapid mac cooker. I got one several years ago until I learned how to use the stove and it made pretty good Mac and cheese.
Talk about alot of childhood memories in a 17 minute video. When we still had cable growing up in the early 2000s I saw alot of commercials like these while watching cartoons with my family.
The "Pocket Hose" is only good for use in a "light duty" situation. I tried to hook together 3 of them and had kinda stretched them to reach where I needed to water my plants, and part of the hose chain had gotten hooked up on something, and part of one of the hoses just broke where it connects to another hose. I had even bought one of the kinds that have a metal connector and it never did work before it had broken. Basically, it is a "light duty" hose from what I've seen in my plant watering situation. I now have 1 pocket hose hooked up to a rubber hose that is tougher. But, I guess maybe other people can use all "pocket hoses" in their yard situation?
My Grandmother has had a Magic Mesh for decades. You’ll need to replace it every several years, but it works. Tip: Get the one with full magnetic lining, the ones with spot magnets break off over time.
I used to have the pasta boat thing (I think it was called something else when I ordered it) and it was great! I LOVE pasta! It was so easy to use and the pasta came out almost perfect every time!
Tip for cracked heels: Use cream after getting out of the tub and drying. Moisturize! I’m a nurse and have had to tell more people than I ever thought I would to moisturize.
Tap lights were handy for hurricane prep kits. Now I use solar-powered motion-activated LED strips for lighting the way around the house in power outages, along with headlamps.
The Flex Tape and Sticky Buddy they are the most coolest and interesting commercial products in all the time and this commercial became the funniest and hilarious meme in all the time
I love my Ove Glove. I use it constantly when making candles, and it's handy (no pun intended) for cooking too, way more dexterity than a bulky oven mitt.
Those furniture sliders are also good for standing on and pretending you're ice skating as you glide around the hard floor. And the rotisserie cooking a chicken was one of my puppies favorite TV show.
As a former property manager for apartment complexes, I’ve destroyed well over 30 of those magnetic screen doors when people move out and leave them. I’d kool aid man smash through them 😂
I really liked this video because I always wonder if any of those products work so I hope that you do a part two if you find any other products that work as good as these do.
I bought a non-stick pan from an As Seen on TV infomercial, and it actually works. It cleans wonderfully, and I wash everything by hand. Never used a dishwasher a day in my life.
I got one for my mom but she still buys a rotisserie chicken from Costco because it’s cheaper than buying a whole chicken and apparently taste the same.
Fact: Valve Corporation picked up on the similarities in appearance between Vince Offer and the Scout from their game Team Fortress 2 and had Nathan Vetterlein record lines drawing on Offer's sales pitches. ;)
if I had a dime for every TV product on here(and others) that I own and STILL use today, I'd be rich. pretty much have half of these products. work like a charm
The magnet screen thing works well enough, but doesn’t come with any support structuring to hang it from your door, leading to a short life span as it tears from whatever you used to hang it up.
Had a Foreman Grill I used until it wore out, I have a manual Ped Egg that I just use last week, and I have OxiClean in my laundry cupboard. I also have something I bought some 30 years ago, another As Seen On TV thing, a defrosting tray. Didn't have a microwave, never liked the way they defrosted food anyway, and this thing was I think 10 bucks at the time. Microwaves are cheap now but they weren't then. That tray is like the puck light - turned out to be so functional that other companies decided to make their own. I just used it a few days ago. I don't know how it works, I just know it does.
I’m just trying to picture that! How the hell do you make cake on a foreman grill? Can you give some kind of description please? I have one and love it!
@@FlyToBeach pretty much the same way you make eggs on it, just prop it up with something so the batter doesn't fall out. And then you just pull it off.
Right? I've been doing microwave potatoes the long way all this time. Lol Poke lots of holes, flip halfway through microwave time, which can be between 6-8 minutes depending on the size of the potato. I LOVE baked potatoes so this thing sounds super time saving.
Basically it's just microwaving a potato inside a oven mitt. And you can get cheap oven mitts at the Dollar Tree! I've actually microwaved potatoes in an oven mitt and it works great.
I've heard of quite a bit of these. I need that Pasta Boat. I can't tell you how much hassle it is just to drain the water and you have no strainer and you don't want to lose the pasta. I do that thing where you slightly tilt the cover and pour it being extra careful not to lose any pasta. That would be very helpful and quicker. Hey we have the Magic Bullet! I totally forgot it was an 'As Seen on TV' product.
I actually have the screen door right now. And the George Foreman Grill. I've used products with OxyClean in them and have a knock off Turbie Twist, Magic Bullet, and tap light. Very interested in the potato bag, the microwave pasta bowl, the slap chop, and the microwave bacon wave tray. I wouldn't mind having some Flex Tape and a few Sham Wows around. I imagine the Sham Wow would be great for drying off pets after a bath. The Chillow might just be a must have for someone like me who is always hot!
Additionally, as good as the George Foreman Grill is, the grease residue gets tough to scrape off if left on the grill bars for longer than a couple hours.

Pedicure thing does NOT remove calluses or rough skin without a long long use, daily, and the rollers are expensive to replace.
I have had a few of those and surprisingly they work well!
I bought a non-stick pan from an As Seen on TV infomercial, and it actually works. It cleans wonderfully, and I wash everything by hand. Never used a dishwasher a day in my life.
Tap Lights, LOVE THEM! SLAP CHOP, Loved it! Potato Express, works, but I'd been wrapping potatoes in towels and cooking them just as fast FOR YEARS.
My Mom had a George Foreman grill and absolutely LOVED it
I forgot about the Pocket Hose and I have always wanted one for years since I've first seen it
I know someone who’s mom got that rotisserie not long after it first came out, and it still works today.
~_~
that's impressive
I got one for my mom but she still buys a rotisserie chicken from Costco because it’s cheaper than buying a whole chicken and apparently taste the same.
@@richardross1754 Cheaper? From COSTCO, maybe.
Tastes the same? Not in my opinion, but it's been a while since I've had either.

The George Foreman Grill is one of the best appliances I've ever owned, full stop.
But wait, there's more!
😀
@jolenehart3434 wow! 3 years later!
Fact: Valve Corporation picked up on the similarities in appearance between Vince Offer and the Scout from their game Team Fortress 2 and had Nathan Vetterlein record lines drawing on Offer's sales pitches. ;)
This brought back days at grandma house
I have a magic bullet and it is amazing
if I had a dime for every TV product on here(and others) that I own and STILL use today, I'd be rich. pretty much have half of these products. work like a charm
If you had a dime for every one you bought, you'd be in debt 🤣
JonTron and Phil Swift would not approve of Flex Tape being so low.
My brother made everything on a George Foreman grill like cake.
I had one in my college room and I can assure you, it's the best solution for a quick meal when you're high af
I’m just trying to picture that! How the hell do you make cake on a foreman grill? Can you give some kind of description please? I have one and love it!
@@FlyToBeach pretty much the same way you make eggs on it, just prop it up with something so the batter doesn't fall out. And then you just pull it off.
omg my grandma bought a pocket hose and loveeed it! it literally is so much better than a normal hose in every single way
Why are you catering to my online shopping addiction like this 😭
Right? I'm thankful for all the comments saying particular products on the list are junk, so I can save my money.
Somehow, I missed the Potato Express. Now I must have one!
I LOVE the PedEgg. I've never once used it for it's original intent. It makes an awesome nail file. 💅
I have a Pocket Hose. It is great!
Bag of pure science 😂😂😂
