My favorite part of this vid, 5:33 “before starting, grab a pair of food safe gloves to protect your gloves. “ 😂😂
Same 😝
That tracer actually looks kinda useful especially for biology drawing homeworks
Yea imagine if they used precision machined steel to get that accuracy down
@@Wik3dNuTS4k Imagine if Household Hacker used some fucks, he could have done a much better job, trace is only as accurate as the tracer

@@BepiBoBep lol that's what I thought when Sean said tracer
they used that device before autocad was a thing

That's what she said lol.
"Almost immediately, the machine released 40 years of pent up rage". 🤣
My mom still has one of those little chopper doohickies from the 70s. It still works and is used nearly daily.
We had ours till a few yrs ago as well...we loved it!
The "new" versions suck at the job...
Still got mine from '76 still works like a champ! (Original blade...still awsome) never be another one like it!
In-laws have one. It's orange (or red? That weird 70's color). Only been used to chop hard boiled eggs, but it is amazing!
Me n my wife are still using the one we found at a flea market about 10 years ago. Before that, the made in china junk lasted us no more than a couple years before it had to get tossed.
The Tracer is a "pantograph" and has been around for centuries and was widely used in engineering drawing and art.
Apparently, "pantograph" also has the alternative definition of "a jointed framework conveying a current to a train, streetcar, or other electric vehicle from overhead wires".
@@psltmtir Yep
Gold Winger I love smart people! Thanks for the info.
@@JL-iu7fk knowing a vague fact doesn't make you smart hun..

This video was great! Cause..no rock salt!
I didnt get the joke
@@kk-kk352 lol
@@corneliusbrown3112 :( i dont get it
@@kk-kk352 Waaaay late, but you can make ice cream with the same ingredients much easier if you put the bag of them into about bag filled with ice and rock salt. The ice and salt mixture lowers the melting temperature of the ice and gets it really cold. Rock salt is used to melt ice on roads since mixing the two lowers the freezing temperature of water. It's a fun science experiment for kids. Just watch out for frostbite. It is a cool experiment that shows mixing things can lower their freezing temperature and boiling temperature.

Products like these are the reason the 70's only lasted 10 years. LMAO

@TristansAdventures It's just a comment with something that was said in the video.

The year 1970 was my birth year. It’s awesome to see products from that era in new out of the package condition. I would love to see more product reviews like this one.
Toori Baba ROFL 🤣
I think the chopper had already been around a few decades then.
Funny. I used to love Ronco products. I wanted my mom to buy the Ronco glass cutter. It turned bottles into drinkware. Lol

Mr. ANGAD I wish I saw ads for these products when I was younger, instead of the annoying ones I saw as a kid.

*REMEMBER NO ROCK SALT*
That almanac from back to the future 😂
The Soviet Union had a monopoly on all the rock salt, so we were forced to come up with other ways to make ice cream. It was actually considered quite patriotic to have a bowl of ice cream soup after the 1973 Olympics.
1973 ... not a leap year ... uh, yeah
@@Nyx773 I might be full of shit, then.
Umm Olympics only happen on even years (unless delayed by a once in a century epic world wide pandemic).

When you use the EZ Tracer to copy the image on your activity book:
Wait, that's illegal.
0:52 made me laugh so hard that, for a moment, i forgot that sadness exists. thank you for that.
These "As Seen On TV" episodes are always such a joy to watch. Ty 😁

“40 years of pent up rage” made me laugh xD oh Dylan you were such a funny man :’(
If I could travel back in time I would do anything I could to prevent you from going bud we're going to miss you sincerely here when you were our childhood for a lot of us rest easy buddy
I had the Ronco icecream machine back in the day. It was not worth the investment - LOL.
I always look forward to your humor in these videos. So good. 😁❤
The EZ Tracer is officially called a Pantograph, it's used by engineering and architecture students for enlarging drawings and drafts. It's a nifty tool to have if you draw with precise measurements.
If I could travel back in time I would save Steve Irwin.
The EZ tracer isn't a bad toy really, I have something of an affinity for geometric drawing tools
Ez-tracer when i in elementary school we actually really use it for draw a map
I always enjoy your videos, man! Thank you for continuing creating after all these years
I just realized I wasn’t subscribed. That’s why I wasn’t getting any notification!
If you need more 70s stuff to review, let me know. I can probably find it in my parent’s kitchen!
So, where’s the time machine which will allow me to buy these products?

5:33 "Grab a pair of food safe gloves to protect your gloves". 😂
The E-Z Tracer is actually an archetype of a tool that was used in history for the same purpose. Without the catchy name, it really is just a pantograph, which was used beginning in the 17th century. They’re really handy devices, if you get your hands on a well built one!
Cool video love when you post
Nice profile pick idubbz
I lovee idubbz
If I could go back in time I would uninvent plastic.
i just stumbled on this channel randomly and its oddly entertaining. i like his sense of humor.

If you're doing a 70s products video, why was your logo 80s themed?
We had this debate internally.
there are so many references to past videos in these videos i have to pause to point them all out lol... also i actually hate you your pun game is too on point even for me lmao love yall

Nice to see the automatic can opener and the silicone oven mitt make an appearance as extras in this video!👍🏼
That slap chopper keeps reappearing every few years with a new name and a new package.
You used the old school mixer, love it lol
I had the popiel pocket fishermen that came out in a 1970's info commercial. Since I bought it at an indoor flea market it was used. It took me two weeks of taking it apart and putting it together in order to restore it. I loved that pocket fisherman I actually cought a few 2lb bass in it. It finally broke on me when I moved to a new apartment
OMG "Ronko". There is a word I haven't heard forever.
