**FOR "PROPER" FRONT-END SET-UP GEOMETRY - MILITARY [GS02F]**
- The problem (I FOUND) with the links, you like so much, is they do not truly line-up "to give" (EXACT), PERFECT GEOMETRY/PLACEMENT, FOR THE FRONT AXLE, (OR EVEN) THE OVERALL WHEELBASE OF [12.3"/313mm] !!! 🤨 !?
- So in order to get the "correct" king-pin lean, and (upper link) Front Axle adjusted, I took the panhard bar (the thin bar)... and placed it where the single upper link, (should be) !!
- This gave "the right" placement for the upper-mount, on the front axle !!
- Then I "drilled-out" the long (10mm) set-screws-(HOLES) ON THE AXLE, (WHERE THE HUBS ARE MOUNTED, which gave the "correct king-pin angle" - for the linkage & HUBS to "properly" throw the steering - HOW STEERING ON AN OFFROAD RC, "SHOULD BE" !!!!
- Make sense.....!!??? ... Because (IF) a person DOES BUILD THIS SECTION OF THE [GS02F] WITH "THE SAID/PRINTED SPECS", MEANING THE (SHORT-ASS 55mm LINK, THEN YOUR CRAWLER/SCALE TRAIL TRUCK, " WILL NOT" HAVE THE CORRECT POSITIONING FOR THE STEERING GEOMETRY !!!! (😯) 🤔.......
- I measure "my panhard-link (the bent, small rod) - to be 95mm, NOT "85mm" center to center, like the MANUAL calls for, - the (55mm) link !!!! PULL IT OUT. 🤫
So...[center to center] of each "standard/by the manual" -(rod-end(s) + alum. link) WOULD ONLY BE 85mm !!! - No, wrong !!
- By using the bent "panhard" bar, it equals (95mm) center to center !!! 👌
- Now place this "factory-bent" panhard, where the 85mm front upper-link was, THEN YOU WILL HAVE AN ACCURATE GEOMETRY FOR YOUR (FRONT-AXLE ALIGNMENT) !!!! 👍😁
- And last, you have to lengthen the (front-lower links) - in order to get the correct wheelbase, and "POSITIONING" for the rear-axle, as well !!!
- NOW..... you should have a
[12.3"/313mm Wheelbase]... IF NOT, YOU ARE NOT MEASURING YOUR GS02F LINKS CORRECTLY !!!
- THIS (GS02F) IS "STILL" THE BEST CRAWLER, IN MY OPINION !!!! 👍 😁

Truck looks really good, ordered a kit and just waiting on delivery. Question about the short rear shocks though, what is the length from mounting hole to mounting hole? Just curious what options there are for those shocks. I know this is a very late to the video message, but thanks!
Definitely great cars, any shock that will fit axial, traxxas etc will work
