    Fun video! Here's a cursed idea I just had: Shuttle on SLS! I know it makes no sense but I can see it in my mind already hahaha

      It's such a crazy idea, but if you can figure out the payload capacity I would be fascinated to see a video on "Shuttle-SLS". Keep up the good work!

      An expendable upper stage for Superheavy is actually a good idea, imo.

    I was half-joking yesterday that it would be funny to see how good a super heavy-EUS-Centaur could work for interplanetary injections. This was even more messed up lol

      EUS is a bit small as a pure upper stage for SH and it can't fit in Starship. An extended Saturn V second stage, as another comment suggested, is a bit better.

    Would be fun to try swim in that 70 ton water. Should just need an oxygen mask, and something to escape the ball of water forming around you.

    Also could superheavy lift the entire Shuttle stack, like this but including SRBs haha, would it have less or more ∆v?

      Not if the SRBs are on the top - that's 2030 tons total and SH can't deal with that. Move the SRBs to the side of SH, though, and that might help.

    What mod allows the different launch pads and ksp to look more realistic? I don't see anything that makes it look realistic for the new rp1 file.

      I don't know what you mean by new RP-1 file, but relevant mods in this video are RSS Canaveral HD, Canaveral Pads, and, of course, Kerbal Konstructs. They work with Realism Overhaul and I would assume RP-1, but I don't use RP-1 since I'm not doing career here.

      ​@@RaizSpacei was refering to rp1 mod yes. A lot of mods don't work with rp1. An error about b9 part switch or something pops up in game with some mods and ckan won't let you download others.

      The vessels have to stay in render range of each other as far as I know.

    How does the space shutter look with raptor engines on it? How much smaller is the external tank?

    now i have a stupid idea:
    use Superheavy as the main tank for the space shuttle and replace the rs25 with raptor engines cuz methalox and on tank seperation fly superheavy back to the chopstickS

      If Super Heavy is the main tank for the Shuttle, how does the Shuttle get to orbit after Super Heavy separates?

      I'm sure PEKKA's working on it, but personally, while I can land stuff like Falcon 9 in Realism Overhaul, it's not to the precision that's required for this. I mean, I guess I could randomly manage it once, but not consistently. It would be easier with stuff like stock reaction wheels, full range throttling, or just having infinite fuel on at some point, of course.
