From what I gathered watching your video. Your ultra light 'setup' involves packing one very large bag of coffee, that you can mix into coffee soup. You eat the coffee soup, so you don't sleep, so you don't need a tent or a sleeping bag, or any of the heavy stuff, normal associated with camping. Genius!
I just did a very similar ultralight 3 day trek myself in the woods of New Hampshire, USA on my hybrid bike. I'm home one day and came across your video which I enjoyed very much. I like doing things by myself out in nature no matter the weather. I will enjoying watching your other videos. They are very nicely made and so peaceful. Thanks for posting these.
What an enjoyable video. Beautiful countryside, peaceful, and full of nature’s voices. Couldn’t sleep, got up for a hot cup of something and low and behold found a gift from Erik. Thank you my friend, just what I needed.
Absolutely awesome! Your passion for things that are beautiful, lovely, good and noble are such an inspiration. Thanks for sharing the the quiet wonder of nature.
Just got to this one. Thanks for sharing your setup Erik. Nice and simple! Missed your wooden cup this time but always enjoy the thumbs up. Peace Brother.
Just added 'gravel bike' to my outdoors lexicon...you should pack a hammock tent. They're the best for bike camping, as long as you've got two trees, you're good to go. They do double-duty as a comfortable chair while relaxing at camp
I have a coffee cup like yours except it is brown. It says made in Sweden on the bottom. I bought it in San Francisco at least 30 years ago, but I don't think they sell them here any more. I haven't seen one in a store for a long time. It still is in good shape.
Beautiful landscape. I love your kit and bike; it just proves how little a person really needs to bikepack. Personally, I roll heavy, probably too heavy.
Wonderful video recording so nicely your beautiful bikepacking! The new season is here and I think you enjoy the fact, that there yet will not be many mosquitos harassing you with their keen interest to be in approximately closeness with your exposed skin areas during your visits to the amazing wilderness of Sweden! Wishing you Erik both happy and safe rides in future! Big and warm THANK to you sir once again for sharing your adventures to the nature with us your many followers here on YT!
I never new you did bike packing Erik, a great video and well edited, the white door behind white skin a good one 🤣, and a great simple setup , probably the best I have watched recently and I watched a lot on bike pack setups , obvious really from a backpacking background 👍🙂
The quiet and quiet countryside looks beautiful. The color of natural life is excellent. The video and sound from the bike backpacking tour are unique and interesting. Thanks Erik~ Good luck! ps. The color of the pants and the coffee cup match was unexpectedly good and looks great.
Greetings from France. Thank you for your beautiful videos. I'm considering buying a Diverge (one of the few gravel bikes with a women's version that's small enough for me) and your videos are inspiring me to go ahead and do it. Glad to know you can put enough stuff on the bike to do some light camping.
The terrain is so similar to our own here in far northern Maine. Perhaps that is why we proudly have New Sweden and Stockholm, Maine as two of our great little towns.
Really enjoyable video and makes this 63 year old want to go visit a bicycle store! Had a couple of mountain bikes with the straight handlebar, the ones on your bike might be better for me.
Cuckoo, Cuckoo, love the sound of nature!! Not sure about the caffeine intake though, that would get one's heart racing!! Thank you for sharing. You pick some perfect spots for your adventures :-)
A very enjoyable video. Excellent video and audio. I love your set up Eric, it's simple and it works. My only recommendation might be to add a silt tarp or even a poncho as someone else suggested, but you probably already know that. Thanks for sharing, very much appreciated !!!
Excellent video as always. Just want to warn all you people about ticks! I slept one night outdoors in Central Finland a little more than week ago. Couple days ago I noticed a red area in my hand and it was itchy and swelling. Not typical mosquito mark. I went to a doctor and it was diagnosed as a possible borreliosis infection. So now I have antibiotics and I hope there will be no problems. So it might be more safe to sleep in a tent if possible. And remember to check your body for ticks couple of times a day. I believe there are also ticks in northern Sweden these days?
How did you secure your front fender please. I have no mounting points on my bike for front fender and am looking for solutions how can I secure it, thanks
Phenomenal climate. And landscapes ... In Poland, where I lived, camping is forbidden. Just like burning fires. We pray here damn it! instead of living in harmony with nature :-( I envy you.
Hey ! Says the Canadian Moving like a ghost, everywhere nobody, always the nice location, like the house you stop by, it is typical of sweden and superbe, funny moment when your posing in front of the old house door, i couldn't distinguish you from the door, let say you blend in, white on white( LOL.) is the sound of the cou cou live ? magnificent anyway.
You sir are an absolute genius, the way you filmed and edited content. Love this entire video from begining to end. What kind of microphone did you use, im interested in recording songbirds as well?

In my winter bike tour I use "coffee tank" - 1L vacuum bottle with hot coffee and sugar.
Hahahahaha. Best comment ever.

Thanks Debbie. It's a nice way to travel! I haven't made many biking videos, but I hope to make more in the future.
Eye opening as far as just strapping dry bags to your bike . Perfect !
I love how you just used what you had! No need to spend up on specialist kit, just strap what you have on and get moving.
Very good video and very easy bike packing. Thanks for all ideas.
You never fail with your presentation

All sharp . All good ideas etc. Little slices of sanity and inspiration . Really great productions man . Thanks again
Thank you! I like a lot the "No Blah Blah" format of your channel. This way with no words you can say many Important words and thoughts. Good Luck!
Wonderful vLog - very simple setup. You have given me a few ideas for my next adventure. Many Thanks
Excellent audio Erik, especially the crystal clear sounds of water and whimsey of the cuckoo :) Nirvana . . .
"Morning Coffee" = 5 days worth....all in 1 pot👍
Lol @ 5 days worth... all in one pot. I thought that must be some hella good coffee. I would luv a bag of that.
Absolutely awesome! Your passion for things that are beautiful, lovely, good and noble are such an inspiration. Thanks for sharing the the quiet wonder of nature.
Nice overnight Erik! Great setup on your bike! Another great way to camp and enjoy the outdoors! Thank you for taking us along my friend. Doug
Very stylish. Plenty of time for nature, facts about the bike as well. Inspiring.
Really liked how simple your setup was. Gave me some good ideas.

Really enjoyable video and makes this 63 year old want to go visit a bicycle store! Had a couple of mountain bikes with the straight handlebar, the ones on your bike might be better for me.
Thanks William. You could try one at the store. I think they are very nice to ride. Atb
Amazing! Wish I have days as you!
Well made amazing video. I enjoyed it very much.

Great video, as usual. Beautiful surroundings. The beard looks nice on you.
Great video Thanks for sharing
Seriously good watch.
Great little film. Ultra light weight! - you have a lot of birds in your country :)
It's that time of the year, nature boils of birdsong :) Though I added most of them in post this time.
Se eu tomar um café com essa quantidade de pó, nesse pingo de água, nunca mais eu consigo dormir na vida. 😂
Dina filmer är som balsam för själen. Toppklass som vanligt!
Tack Terje :)
Nice video! Looks like Canada.
Härligt, njutbart och avstressande. Mvh Lars-Göran
Call me weird, but love the sound of rubber tires against pavement. :)
i glad to watch your video, this is real life and enjoy the environments. From Hong Kong.
nice film
You had a cuckoo bird in the morning :) Nice video :)
Wonderful video, I'll be doing the same thing soon. Thanks.
fantastic video(s) !!!
That coffee sip and thumb up gesture are legendary, but I hate 'em 😉
Good idea to take ties heroboy and don't need any bags! Bike cool 🏕🚴♂️👍

Thanks for the heads up! I hope you be ok! I haven't seen any where I live but they are slowly creeping northwards.
Pemandangannya sangat indah..aku jadi pengen kesana juga👍👍

I first thumbs up, then watch🤠
Wawwww,,,ke Buen Tur !,,,Saludos desde cista rica..
How are you/he mounting the action cam onto the bar end? is there a way to do the same thing for a GoPro?
Riktigt skön film 👍
How did you secure your front fender please. I have no mounting points on my bike for front fender and am looking for solutions how can I secure it, thanks
Phenomenal climate. And landscapes ...

Greetings from Poland
Can anyone identify the bird call at 6:29? Possibly an owl? It repeats a couple times during the video.
1:30 place beautiful!
High Erik, if you make two belt-string on your Tent-bag, you can use it as a small back-pack and have your tent with you. Kindly Fiete
Thanks Fiete. Yes that could work.

Yes the white skin can be a camouflage too ;) The birds are added in post production. Thanks Patrice

They are all from northern Sweden
could float a nail in that coffee.
Greetings from s.korea...

what are your back-up options? particularly in winter
two pairs of shoes? what about ultralight
Hej! Kanon fin video, så fridfull alltså! Var cyklade du någonstans?

Nice I assume that coffee is instant??
Awesome Eric! It doesn’t look like you can fit panier bags or can you?
Thanks! Yes it's possible to put racks for panniers on the bike too.
