not a word about the double door, right of the entrance. I know, this is Italy, and that kind of odd arrangement, where a bit of the groundfloor is owned by someone else is not uncommon. clarifying this would be helpful, as would clarifying whether there is any possibility of acquiring that groundfloor.
No possibility of purchasing the ground floor. As you pointed out in Italy this is extremely common, especially in town homes, most of the properties here are divided in this way.

“I love that all 1color look” - yeah, italians normally for some reason like to paint each wall different color + different tiles in each room too:) Overall, even though small, I think this is a good value as Ostuni is no longer cheap. Plus it is renovated already.
Difficult to keep everyone happy. I think I end up liking everything that is slightly different. Definitely rare to find properties in Ostuni that are livable at this price!

There is a chimney up on the front part of the deck, but no fireplace. That seems to be above the kitchen.

A townhouse, also called a townhome, is a type of house that has multiple floors with at least one shared wall between residences. These buildings are often tall and thin, and attached to other townhomes in a long row. You could restore the outside of your part of the property.
