I'd really love to use the same tour company you used, and the same tour itinerary/excursion. Could you please provide the URL and the name of the excursion you chose? You know that you can walk up from the parking lot, right?
Went up in 2008; bus from Taormina, cable-car, 4+4, then on foot to the summit. It was windy and bloody freezing, but well worth it!
