This is a great result. I think yours is the only video on this pattern out here at the moment. I haven't even found any blog reviews elsewhere. I love when people make content for rarely used patterns ❤❤
Wow! You have the patience for the hand sewing. Good job! Glad you were able to have a sewing machine again. Enjoy all your future sewing projects! Hand work or sewing on a machine.
This looks great. I’d want multiples of this to wear every day! Glad you improved your living situation. Life’s too short to be unhappy in what’s supposed to be your home space. ❤
Beautiful, well done! Vogue also produced a "Walkaway Dress", which i bought and made. Whether it was my choice of fabric or the pattern, i took it to a charity shop, going to have a go at the butterick one next, although i do love this pattern. Thank you for sharing with us x x x
I love your videos. Reminds me of a similar time (long ago) in my own life. I love this dress much more than the butterick version.your choice of fabric is beautiful. Loved the glimpse of your beautiful shawl. Especially loved how you confess how you "think" or plan to just whip it up and it keeps getting set aside because....life happens.
I tried this as my first dress pattern after watching your video. You made it look so easy and the result is so nice! Mine did not go that well at all though. Lol... I couldn't get the bodice to fit even though I tried it twice... I ended up adding shoulder darts and then cinching in the shoulder straps to get a better fit in the bodice. And then I added a tie in the back to pull it closed. Still, it was a fun project and your video helped a lot!
Yeah, I also did find that if I wanted the bodice to fit closer I'd have to add some darts or extra hook and bars... but I figured I'd be wearing a top under anyway so I left it as is! But happy to help at least a little with your project! 😊
That's a LOT of fabric in 1 dress. Probably makes more sense in a cold climate but I prefer things a lot simpler. I liked the fabric tho and loved the pocket. All dresses should have pockets imo
Haya. Yay, I was 'seeeeeew' excited to see you put a vlog out 😃Really enjoyed this & your dress is wonderful 🤩& you look great in your dress 🤩Hope you are enjoying everything at collage, I know you are working incredibly hard 💙AAwww, yup I know what you mean when sometimes to have to move, I hope everything is all ok now? I did send you a pm over on IG, not sure if you got it? Name starts with fuzzy 😂Thanku 'sew' much for sharing. Ana 🪡✂🧵🙂x

It's much better than the Walkaway dress, more flattering. Love the fabric! So glad you are posting again when you have time. 😊

Haha, I do love my hand sewing!! Though it is definitely so much faster on a machine 😅
Omg. What an adorable dress. You did a wonderful job.
Thank you so much! 😍
Very pretty and the fabric suits the style very well. Thank you for sharing this. Was going to try a walkaway but will get this one instead.
Good luck with yours!! I'm glad my video was helpful 😊
Great job ...loved that you hand sewed so much of it awesome
Thank you! 😊
Making one as soon as I get the pattern!
I like this dress better than the walkaway. Beautiful make!
Thank you! It is a lovely version of a quick wrap dress, though not so simple as the original walkaway dress I don't think! 😊
Thank you, Bronwyn! I prefer this design for sure! Well done, enjoy!
You are clearly very talented, I adore the detail and appreciate how much work went into making this.
Thank you so much!
Oo prefer this to the walkaway dress. Looks amazing!
Thank you!! 😊
love it! and so glad you are enjoying college and England.

Sewso cute. Buttons are perfect
i love this pattern! the fabric looks great made up. tfs:)
Such cosy fabric to wear also! Even though I failed completely at any attempt to pattern match 😂

This pattern is a lovely version! Though it is more work with the darts and pockets, so not as simple!
Lovely job on the dress
Thank you! 😊

That turned out great! I think i need to make one two!
Such an easy to make dress! Even if it did take me forever to make cause I kept procrastinating... 😜
Hey you done a great job.
Thank you so much! 😊
Really nice dress, I may do it.
So cute that you've acquired a duel accent :)
Love the dress -- and that hidden pocket made so much sense in the finished project!
Hahaha yeah... my accent has always been a little confused and 5 months in the UK has not helped!! 😅
Awesome.
Hi this is Elle on husbands computer. Love the fabric. Wish I could find here in the US for a reasonable price.
Yeah, back in Aus I will struggle to find wool blends cheaply! Not much call for that type of fabric in the warmth 😜

But the more fabric, the greater the skirt swoosh! 🤪 I agree, pockets should be way more prevalent than they currently are!!
@@bronwynemma 😏
I loveit
Thank you 😊
