@@miniscenesgb You are doing fab if you are new to it : ) just another social media we need to get our heads around! I am getting too old for it, what will they bring out next 😅
@@just4youonlineuk yeh my first proper upload was about 7 months ago I think - I'd have to check the dates lol. I'm just getting my head around it too so shout if you want to compare notes
These are beautiful coasters. I've just started watching your videos and I love them all. I have a question, if you don't mind answering. How long should I wait before the coasters can be used? Mine has previously stuck together and I'm sure I used them too soon. Thank you in advance for your help.❤
Thank you so much, so pleased you find the videos useful. We recommend you wait for at least 7 days before placing anything on the coaster surface, hope this helps x
Very unique,🤩great video too! (perfect timing for US's 4th of July coasters, trying to figure out red white and blue on them, like for the background or for the glitter ???) 🤔
Absolutely stunning coasters love them ❤ See how you poured the glitter 1st into the holder then went in with the back on top. Every time i try this my black mixes in with the glitter at the bottom 😢 where am i going wrong please x
Hi thank you so much for watching. Helen the artist in this video poured the black and then allowed this to cure. She then mixed our UV resin with the glitter, painted this on top and cured under UV light (If you have a look from 11.00 min onwards in the video) our UV resin is perfect for techniques like this. Helen would also be happy to help her channel is @resinrainbow and she is lovely. We also have a private tuition class available on our website at a really good price where you can meet with an experienced resin artist via zoom and she can answer all of your questions. The link for that is here just4youonlineuk.com/products/1-to-1-art-craft-class hope this helps x
@just4youonlineuk Hi I'm talking about the actual coaster holder not the square coasters. She poured resin mixed with the champagne glitter then poured the black on top right away before curing. I saw what she done with the uv resin on the coasters
These are so lovely! Got all the stuff so will have to have a go! Got pottery class tomorrow so it will have to be Friday! Just had a thought, could you use a stencil?
For our Apex Resin High Gloss it is a 1:1 resin so you would need equal amounts of resin and hardener no matter the shape of coaster but other resins may be different so always check the instructions. Let me know if you need any more help

They are just beautiful! How did you avoid their being a lip around the edges?
Looks like they were domed prior to demoulding
Hi lovely I will see if the artist @ResinRainbow can help with this x

Hi yes it is www.just4youonlineuk.com
I saw this technique with varnish instead of uv resin. Have you tried it?
Yes it doesn't create the same effect as UV resin
@@just4youonlineuk so which one is better??
