Tom brought us some really cool stuff we had not seen before! What was your fave? Would you like to see more from this collection? Let us know!
Demantoid, their fire is CRAZY!
More please!
8:34 crystalized cognac
I'm a goat farmer and with a blithe disregard for the fact that I'm in Ireland not Ethiopia, I'm going opal hunting on my land tomorrow! Loved this collection of stones.
Green garnets (of all kinds) are some of my favorite stones! They're just so vibrant and striking!
Yes please never stop sharing 💎💎💎
Beautiful pieces! QUESTION???
Do you have a video on how you clean SPECIMENS?
Would love to know!
Very fun to see some uncommon specimens!
Fantastic! I love the variety in garnet.
WOW. Beautiful stones and stories. Thanks guys. GREAT to see you again.
Thank you for giving us more closer looks. I wish I could have seen that peridot though. :)
Some incredible pieces! The tsavorite garnet is stunning
These are all so beautiful! I would love a part 2! You guys should also do a video on the craziest gemstone discovery stories
That taaffeite was super neat. Would love to see a video on both taaffeite and musgravite. :)
To quote Count Dracula "Fang-tastic!" The rare and exotics are always my favorites.
Awesome. I hadn’t heard of a lot of these!
I learn so much!! Thanks!!
Awesome pieces 😊
Nice pieces ❤
Oh no. It's Home Shopping Network now.
I'd like to see a lake superior agate session! Cool specimines.
That ruby. Do want.
Yeah, show more! These are very special.
BTW Nice to see the ponytail gone. You and Rob are smart, cool and look great without the pseudo-hipster hair.
Lovely lazurite specimen 👍
Tis a pity that the euclase didn't display the iconic light blue colour it's so often prized for, having said that, it would still be nice to pick up a specimen with some decent inclusions for microscopic analysis. Very tempting...😉
Tom really feels like a gem seller. He present gemstones to sell them tu us. He might be very good at it, but I think it gives a cold impression in videos instead of just gem passion and love, it's a bit more calculating. I don't hate it, I just feel more like watching infomercials than gemstone content
I agree! It doesn't feel like a hobby when he's presenting things for some reason lol
I disagree with your assessment that Tom gives a cold impression. Having watched his JTV Extra shows or guest spots with show hosts, his passion for gems is unmistakably genuine and candid. Just a reminder: these videos are produced by a BUSINESS whose intention is to SELL things.
What wavelength of UV light do you use to see the florescence with ruby (etc.)? Or is it any UV light?
We typically show our gems in longwave UV light, which is 315-400nm. That is what we used here. More gems will show fluorescence in shortwave UV, but it is dangerous to look directly at, so we rarely use it for our videos.
Woah.. 🎉
I want them all. 😆 Oups my wallet is not thick enough 😅🤣 Have an happy year guys!
How do I get pictures to you all ?
Aquamarine' from my area
❤❤❤❤
Really want to know how much that pale Taaffeite sold for
What a find for that Ethiopian to find the opals!
I was hoping to see some trapiche emerald
Stay tuned...
It would seam that every gem spins off of Quartz, right?
Have a Spesertine With Watt Lookz Like Smoke N It.. Eye Like It *
How much are you selling for
Check the description!
Wow there is definitely more than 1000cts in clinohumite 😂 ive faceted so many and know there are tens if not hundreds of thousands of carats of facet grade pieces out there
That afghanite is amazing
GUYS MOISSANITE WHEN
Nice presentation...for the FEW SPECIMENS WE SAW. Next time guys, SHOW ALL THE SPECIMENS, NOT JUST SOME.
Sounds like Ethiopian goats make all sorts of great discoveries...opal, coffee... 😊
I'm green emerald ❤❤💚🤎
Peri...dot you don't say the name correctly, why?
