Considering that quartz is the most common thing used as a gemstone, all of them 🥰 like she said the story they tell is the best part, geologically. Like the Medusa ones, tells you so much about the geologic history of the secondary copper deposits in Arizona, and amazed that they were so recently discovered! Would love to know what those inclusions are though, probably something along the lines of chrysocolla?
Keep it up! The study of geology is so so rewarding wherever you're from! I got started early cuz I'm from Colorado and there's lots to wonder about, but anywhere on this planet is amazing geology with lots to consider! And then some, cuz then you'll get into coastal geology and glaciation and all the things they come with but yeah. Best luck to you in your education!
That was so much fun! I love Included quartz! I have a rutile in quartz pendant and a tourmilated quartz cab. And some petroleum quartz too. I really want an e hydro though! That's my wish list item! I still need the Medusa and the strawberry quartz too. I may have to look into your little bundles! Thanks guys!❤
I was so excited to get this parcel but unfortunately the website doesn't offer shipping to Australia. Hope in the future this feature can be added. Love all your videos I'm 3rd year geology student and really enjoy the educational content you guys provide. Keep it up 🔥❤️
The unique geology that created your beautiful country is on par with my home state of Colorado! Be amazed if you aren't knee-deep in amazing mineral specimens there lol
There is a range, but not that extreme. Typically the range is stated as 6 to 7. The macrocrystalline varieties (such as rock crystal or amethyst) are usually 7, while polycrystalline forms (such as chalcedony) may be 6.
Sorry to hear that, we love our international viewers! But if you're in Canada, you may be in luck. It says on our site that there are shipping options for Canada and Mexico. For more info, please contact our Customer Experience Team 1-800-550-8393.
Quartz that contains Rutile, Tourmaline or Actinolite is given the Variety Call: Sagenitic. I got into a lot of trouble with the G.I.A. for calling these materials "Tourmalinated" Quartz or "Rutilated" Quartz during my courses
Water? Petroleum? Tourmaline??? What's your favorite quartz inclusion? Let us know here!
Definitely the Petroleum Quartz, a real collectors item there. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool 😊. I’m lucky to find lots of quartz with inclusions when prospecting. My favorite is tourmaline which I have many nice ones 😮
This host rocks! (Not Rob, who is obviously the GOAT) "It's like a pair of chopsticks in there!" Love her.
WOW!! So cool!
I bought that parcel several years ago. It's amazing!
How did they just make a video with the parcel if you bought it years ago?
Swordfish Mining says UV all your enhydros for Green glowing bubbles.
I have a polished slab of mineral with a feathery pattern inside
Any ideas?
I can't identify it. I have a rock business
Very cool!
Can different types of Quartz have a wide range of Hardness? Like from a 5 to a 9 on the MOH's scale?
